Too many dance styles now in each show

I preferred it when each week the celebs had only two dance styles: ie. the men the waltz and the ladies the cha cha for example. Now each couple is dancing a different dance, I find it hard to judge and compare each couple.

It looks a but messy now. I mean week 6 and some couples have already done the AT.

It's done to make it more difficult to compare abilities......don't forget it's not about the dancing, it's about the entertainment

I agree, and i think the dances are going so far away from what the actual dance is that you couldn't be blamed for not knowing what particualr dance each couple are doing in the first place!.....

All the lifts and the props make it all look just like any old dance show not a 'ballroom' dance show!, although Len has just said tonight that they are going to start coming down hard on all the lifts that are being done!, i must say there has been so many i though they had changed the rules and i had not heard about it!.....

Much better to do a single dance, then those without a dancing background can compare them properly

True, I am getting confused over who has done what and some seem to have done a lot of ballroom and vice versa!

This has been annoying me more this series...particularly when some dances have been borderline indistingushable from each other. (Like the tango-ish foxtrots on the first week, or cha chas that look like rhumbas, and vice versa...)

I would much prefer there to be just one Latin and one ballroom dance each week.

I notice no one has Samba-d yet or American Smooth-ed. Are these dances still in the competition this year? xx
