Well maybe, but I am looking at his partner.

You are missing the problem. The problem is that there is no way to vote Ann out. There is no negative vote and the positive vote for the dancers is split every week wheras the anti-dancing/anti-judge vote is concentrated on her. She will stay for as long as she has more votes than at least the person above her in the judges voting order.

In the past, the judges could tie two or three people above her to make it more difficult for her to beat any of them in the combined score but that no longer possible with the silly new counting rules for ties.

Before, she would also go as soon as she reached the bottom two - but now there's no dance off, she has to be bottom herself to go.

As it is, she can stay weeks and even in the QF and SF her vote may be bigger than one of the dancers sharing the dancing vote. Indeed, the judges may have to put the most popular dancer last in their order to get rid of her and that may be fatal if she is the one who has most votes. We may end up with even more desperate attempts to use the rules to get rid of her - just because some producer had the ridiculous idea of getting rid of the dance off to make things simpler and to give the public whatever a big enough minority of voters wanted.

I agree. Personally I won't stay watching that long. It spoils it for me when I see contestants who are improving each week being voted out while she's still there. Also, I'm sick of Ann's "comedy routines". I'll start watching again when she's gone.

Ann is on the wrong programme. She should have applied for Let's Dance for Comic Relief if she wants to do comedy dancing that much (not that she would have beaten the lovely Robert Webb) instead of ruining what used to be a great dance show.

I feel that the celebs who genuinely try i.e. all except Ann may begin to loose faith in the great British Public and not feel as commited to the show as they may once have...or they could go the other way and try even harder. Whatever they do it seems they will loose out because of someone who treats the show in such a manner as Ann

That is exactly it. I Said on another thread the judges need to over mark her and put her in the middle of the board. Then hopefully voters will vote for the better dancers at the bottom of the board.

Maybe Craig should give her one It would be against his sexuality and against her religion though. But then again, the GBP would probably vote to see that

I thought she was funny the first week, but only the chat with the judges bit (but that just grates now) Her dancing has never been anything but cringy and i really do struggle to see how people see it as entertaining? But what can you do, if people like her and want her in the show then so be it.
