You are missing the problem. The problem is that there is no way to
vote Ann
out. There is no negative vote and the positive vote for the dancers is split every week wheras the anti-dancing/anti-judge vote is concentrated on her. She will stay for as long as she has more votes than at least the person above her in the judges voting order.
In the past, the judges could tie two or three people above her to make it more difficult for her to beat any of them in the combined score but that no longer possible with the silly new counting rules for ties.
Before, she would also go as soon as she reached the bottom two - but now there's no dance off, she has to be bottom herself to go.
As it is, she can stay weeks and even in the QF and SF her vote may be bigger than one of the dancers sharing the dancing vote. Indeed, the judges may have to put the most popular dancer last in their order to get rid of her and that may be fatal if she is the one who has most votes.We may end up with even more desperate attempts to use the rules to get rid of her - just because some producer had the ridiculous idea of getting rid of the dance off to make things simpler and to give the public whatever a big enough minority of voters wanted.
