Poor Kara, any excuse to knock her down, jealousy is a terrible thing,Kara and Matt are the best dancers by a mile, with or without lifts.

I think Len said that lifts will be penalised if inappropriate and they will lose marks. Anton wont care - they are always going to be bottom, so will keep his lifts and gimmicks. This may make other dances appear dull in comparison to the voting public.

This is what I was thinking of

So Anton can continue to do what he is doing now but just make sure she keeps a foot on the floor, which let's face it will no be a strain for her

It is the better dancers who will miss out. Their rountines need to be spectacular to win the public over to vote for them against Ann, and lifts are always popular.

Sad person that I am, I sent a complaint to the BBC last week about the fact the viewers had not been told what the new rules were on the show, now that lifts, props and dancing a lot more out of hold were all now allowed. I suggested the subject should be covered in the new blog, on the new website or on ITT.

I didn't get a reply, but perhaps I wasn't alone in asking what is going on.

Now Len says the rules haven't changed after all and the judges were just letting the celebs get away with stuff. I don't believe that tbh, but at least we know what to expect from now on.

Do you think that includes cartwheels and handsprings?

Cartwheels need to have one limb on the floor (obviously ) but not necessarily the foot

As soon as Len announced it I did think it might be their way of trying to oust Ann and Anton by cutting back most of the 'gimmicks' they use. Am I the only one who really didn't find their Charleston particularly entertaining??

I wondered this too. Maybe a dance expert can enlighten us?

No, I did not find anything 'entertaining' about that routine

This concerns me quite a bit! Although I remain optimistic that the others will not lose out as I think this will ensure the pros choreograph solid dance routines which will make them shine. If the pros make their partners shine through dancing and then we have Ann plodding along with limited lifts hopefully this will impact her supposedly entertaining routines and something will click amongst the people voting her although I must say I don't think I'll hold my breath
