Is Widdy a hint from the BBC to us all...

... that this is the last series of Strictly?

I propose this not because I think they've incited too much outrage among the viewers. That keeps the ratings high, if anything.

Instead, I'm wondering how they'll get 14 celebs together to make up the team, if everyone they approach knows that it won't matter how much work you put in, how much you try to improve, if there's some cult figure with attitude who will probably get to the final without bothering to learn even one dance properly.

So they, the Beeb, may not even try again.

You're suggesting there's foresight involved here on the BBC's part are you?

I'll have to go away and ruminate on that one, but gut feeling tells me I won't be inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt.

If she did win it would mean the end of SCD as we know it, not that it hasn't been changed enough this series. I'm sure they would include a few more joke characters.

The producers must remember that people like AW get support only because the rest take dancing seriously. If we had a comp. full of people as hopeless at dance then AW would be first out.
I suggested an SCD for the over sixties and the hopeless, but it went down like a lead balloon on here.
