Quick idea on Voting

Just a thought.

How about after 3/4 weeks (say) the public are asked to vote - for one week only - for who they want to leave, rather than their favourite?

There's no particular reason why I am thinking this of course......

Its an interesting question though. Would you get a similar result if people voted for the couple they want to leave. Would we have more or less shock exits?

I've never understood why, after the judges have had their vote, the public doesn't vote to save either of the two lowest scorers?

Makes sense and as long as the judges are voting on technical merit, it would ensure the best *dancer* wins

I don't think the BBC would like that...voting for "who to go" has more of the bear pit/negative slant to it.

But I do think the idea of the top half of the leader board after the judges scores being "safe" and the public only voting FOR the bottom four/five has some merit in reflecting dance ability/performance on the night.

It's much more fun and entertaining for the public to have 50% of the say in who they want to see each week, and can save the celeb at the bottom of the leaderboard if they want to.

Ann getting through each week, just makes me send in some extra votes for the celebs I like the most.

I just hope others are doing the same

But wouldn't that blatantly prove that it's not an dancing contest and just an popularity contest.

You may be one of the better dancers but I don't like you because (enter some reason not connected to their dancing) so I'm voting to get you booted off.
