Channel 10 now seems to be blocked - link in BB Chatter to CH10 Live also removed. This isn't coming over as a temporary glitch.

Has anyone any idea of a differerent route or way of entering the URL that might get access to this channel or a similar 'service' ?

Help from the more experienced / knowledgeable appreciated

Could just be a co-incidence apparently. The BB Chatter link has been moved to the left side of this page

BB Big Brother

and a bloke on BB Chatter says it may just be down cos its the middle of the night there.

So I'm not gonna give up all hope yet .

The link was working for me 8 or 9 hours ago. It isn't now so I'm not sure what's happening.

To me it seems possible that the Encoder running the stream became overloaded and crashed last night - the stream was buffering quite badly at around 1:45am, then shortly after it was offline.

From past experiance of using Windows Media Encoder, when a stream just says "buffering" like the TV10 stream is at the moment, it means the Encoder is still on, but just not running.

Its not saying File not Found so I think theres a good chance it just crashed under the strain, and as soon as the person running the stream notices it will be back.

Very reasurring Chris E - on the bright side it has encouraged me to do a bit of research on UDP connections and it does seem, if I understand it correctly, that this less demanding protocol is subject to congestion.

So hopefully you could be right. I still have no idea how this particular 'service' came into being and who exactly is providing it or why.

I would love to find that out to. Maybe it is a person in Ohio providing the service for a friend who lives abroad or something like that.
