I'm sure it's been said before, but are they trying to make Katie into an arch villain - surviving each week against all odds, defeating more and more popular contestants in order to make her ultimate demise so eagerly anticipated that when she is finally kicked out, there will be an almost tangible sigh of relief and the world will cheer as the least favourite is finally kicked into touch.

Too late, the press and the Cowell machine happear to have succeeded!

Poor lass, I like her style and vocals, but then, I have never read any of the OTT gutter press stories about her, they always have and always will be immaterial to my Xfactor experience and voting pattern.

Lets be honest, so long as she stays people will watch and Simon gets higher ratings. I wouldn't be surprised if she lasts more than 2 weeks.

She's just an affected young woman who would be more at home in the West End than the X Factor. Sad really.

Isnt this where 99% of good Xfactor contestants end up? no bad thing and a great career to be proud of. TBH,most of the eventual winners could NOT perform in the west end.

Didn't say it was a bad thing, just meant that her innate theatrics are more suited to that field.

Me too - the longer she survives, the sweeter her demise.
