Jeeso! My man said i know mare about boxing than most blokes?!
How, well maybe i've missed it, is there not a boxing thread? Gavin Rees was quality last night, and i know it probably wont happen but i hope to **** Harrison throws an absolute boom punch and shuts the faymacker out! sh!tbag is ducking the Klitschko brothers!!! If Faymaker even did fight one of them bet a million pound he will want Wladimir, BUT Vitali is a monster! Think the two of them would kill the Fakemaker that's why he's ducking them like a sh!tbag trying to hold onto the belt as long as he can fighting pure nuggets |

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,195...514579,00.html Sky have delivered big time on this, £15 for all these fights is great value for money. No idea how the PPV revenue split has been worked. Props to Sky for making it happen! Quote:
Sky Box Office HD will show eight live title fights in one night, including Amir Khan's Las Vegas debut, on Saturday, December 11.
The marathon event, called GR8 Britain vs The World, features world, European, Commonwealth and British title fights in a nine-hour broadcast from the UK, Germany and the USA. World champion Khan, heavyweight challenger Dereck Chisora and the rest of British boxing's bright young things will light up Sky Box Office HD's biggest line-up to date. Khan will top the bill as he defends his world light-welterweight title against hard-hitting mandatory challener, Carlos Maidana of Argentina, at the Mandalay Bay. Before that, heavyweight hope Chisora gets his crack at a Klitschko as he takes on WBO and IBF champion Wladimir in front of a huge crowd in Mannheim, Germany - in what will be only his 15th professional fight. In Liverpool Welsh wizard Nathan Cleverly takes on Spain's Alejandro Lakatos in an eliminator for the WBO light-heavyweight title, knowing a win will guarantee him his own shot at a world crown. Behind Cleverly is an all-British affair as Olympic golden boy James DeGale goes into the lion's den and challenges British super-middleweight champion, Paul Smith. With George Groves waiting for the winner, DeGale can't afford to lose. European light-middlweight king Matthew Macklin puts his belt on the line against another Spaniard, Ruben Varon, while another of our world-title hopefuls, Kell Brook, takes on wily American Michael Clark with the WBO Inter-Continental welterweight title at stake. There will be a total of eight fights on one marathon night as, from the glitz of the Las Vegas Strip to the sheer size of a Klitschko fight in Germany, Britain's great eight take on the boxing world. Sky Sports boxing commentator Jim Watt said: "This is a great night of boxing to look forward to with titles being contested in three different countries, Amir Khan making his Vegas debut and Dereck Chisora challenging for the world heavyweight crown. "After the success of the first Magnificent Seven bill in September this is also a great chance to see some of the fantastic British boxing talent that we have, on home soil, with the likes of Nathan Cleverly, James DeGale, Kell Brook and Matthew Macklin who all impressed so much last time out." From the Echo Arena, Liverpool WBO Light-Heavyweight Title Eliminator NATHAN CLEVERLY v ALEJANDRO LAKATOS British Super-Middleweight Title PAUL SMITH v JAMES DeGALE WBO Intercontinental Welterweight Title KELL BROOK v MICHAEL CLARK European Middleweight Title MATTHEW MACKLIN v RUBEN VARON Commonwealth Light-Heavyweight Title TONY BELLEW v TBA Vacant WBO Intercontinental Light-Welterweight Title FRANKIE GAVIN v DEAN HARRISON Middleweight Contest JOE SELKIRK v STEVE O'MEARA From the SAPArena, Mannheim, Germany WBO & IBF Heavyweight Titles WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO v DERECK CHISORA Plus televised undercard fights From Mandalay Bay Resort, Las Vegas WBA World Light-Welterweight Title AMIR KHAN v MARCOS MAIDANA Plus televised undercard fights |

Sh*t i totally forgot that was on!
I had a bet on Barca and Real so i lost track of other stuff! Buckland beat Mathews in the final, ending it with a body shot. I heard Barca were 5 nil up at half time, did they reach double figures? Take it Real won too, last I saw when flicking over they were 2-1 up? |

Knockout of the year last night, sounds like a rifle going off http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q047RbFMS60. Something tells me Sergio's phone won't be ringing off the hook with offers from Mayweather and Pacquiao.

It's a shame the 11th Dec card will do miniscule numbers compared to Haye v Harrison, it offers plenty more value for money and some great fights (and a silly one in Wlad v Chisora). Really interested in DeGale v Smith. DeGale's obviously been improving but I get the suspicion he's trying too hard to impress with the constant switch hitting, ducking and crouching, etc. If anyone at British level can tell us what he's really made of it'll be Smith. Cracking weekend of boxing coming up!!!
Especially looking forward to seeing Amir Khan's fight. Can't wait for the upcoming Ward -v- Froch fight too. If Froch uses his jab, it should be a good & competitive fight. |

I much prefer his style to his dad's . He will need to improve dramatically from tonights performance, which to be fair I'm sure he will. Any sort of boxer could have picked him off tonight. |

DeGale does have talent but tonight he yet again still looked very Amaturish in his style.
Imo, if he is going to reach his full potential then he needs to go to America, get a better trainer, better sparring and get a lot fitter than what he currently is. |

![]() ![]() I still don't think he'll retire though, but maybe more now because he won't want to stop on such a humiliating loss. He'll be fighting Dave from Cheam in the car park at the rate he's going.. |
