Terrible fight, pretty pointless really as the opponent wasn't even european level, impossible to judge groves from a fight like that and I am not sure what he is supposed to learn from it either.

Andre Ward says hi. Olympic champ, underfeated multiple world champion and cant draw a dime.

Kovalev/Pascal II tonight. Should be decent while it lasts, these two really dont like each other.

It was simply an easy fight - all fighters take them and this was Groves chance to return to winning ways and boost his confidence.

Ok. Kovalev just seems to be getting better and better. He didn't give Pascal an inch. Ward is a great fighter. But he is taking a huge risk. Not just the inactivity, but if the fight with Kovalev happens it will be only Ward's second bout at the weight. Hope it happens though!
Does Freddie Roach have a World Champion ATM? |

Apparently big frank is making a comeback. http://www.digitalspy.com/showbiz/ne...has-no-choice/ is he off his meds because that seems like a bad idea plus the fact he wouldn't get a licence to box.

Anyway, I believe you've had a detached retina in the past. I very much doubt, and sincerely, hope, they won't give you a licence. Don't do it, Frank - Please !!! |

I feel a bit sorry for Frank boxing was his life and the only thing keeping him going. Mentally he needs to keep boxing or at least training for fights. I think in his head he still needs to believe he can fight but honestly he would never be allowed.
Great boxer and a really nice guy keep dreaming the dream but stay out of any serious fights

Joe Frazier is dead at 67 years of age, 2016 is really turning into a rubbish year already for so many high profile deaths.

I didn't see that coming in a million years. Good on him for taking it, but it's a joke fight really.

Seems a lot of the big names are just avoiding him. Is why I get fed up with boxing, to often we never get the fights we need to see. I don't want to start a UFC/Boxing argument but I do like the fact on the whole the best do fight the best. Look at that Irish guy Conor McGregor beat one champion at one weight and has now stepped up to fight the champion of the weight above. Way to many promoters and of course having the WBO, WBA, WBO and IBF makes it even harder to do fights ect |

Props to khan as I didn't think he would take take fight like this. His going to get knocked out though. Canelo far to big, too strong and will walk khan down.
Canelo v GGG only happens when golovkin accepts terms. Canelo brings the money to the table and that means he will always be the A side fighter. Brook v Khan never happens. Summer 2017 is too late. Brook and Hearn need to move on and put up the money for the unification fight v Garcia. |

Yeah seems it, I personally thought it was nailed on to have a Canelo v GGG fight in May time.

Speaking with not as much expertise as some of the posters in this thread, but wouldn't Garcia v Canelo be a good fight? I rate Garcia very highly... |

On the flip side Canelo for example makes more money per fight McGregor ever will.
It is nothing new though within the sport but I guess the main example will always be the Manny/Mayweather fight that should never of took 5/6 years to get signed. Happens to often. |
