Frampton wins, he just about edged it, but it was by no means a fight which did much for him.

Split but frampton gets it
I really didn't see the split decision. Frampton won at least 7 rounds and one was drawn. The others weren't won by that much either.

Not sure how anybody could have Quigg ahead - after 6 rounds he had barely landed a punch. Giving world champions 5 or 6 rounds start is never a great move.

Slightly off topic but what is the number in the bottom half of the screen?

Quigg is a great fighter shame he didn't fight tonight otherwise he'd have won.

Even the announcer couldn't believe that was a split decision, hence why he didn't state it before he announced the scores. Shocking!

Jim Watt needs pensioning off, the senile old duffer.

One of the Sam Watson twin's is in the ring. Don't think I've seen them in the UK before.

I agree , his defence was good he slipped punches and made Frampton miss many times by ducking, if he kicked in earlier I think he could have won that

Quigg was by far the stronger guy and harder puncher.

So they might find out who's putting the streams up.

Thank you. I think his commentary tonight was as clear a case of pugilista dementia as you'll ever see.

Could be a difficult sell given Frampton admitted he knew it would be boring beforehand but had to big it up for PPV sales.

That first loss will mess with Quigg's head but he'll be back.

That was a really silly thing to say. I'll be sure to find other means if he wants me to pay extra to watch him again.

I get what you're saying but great fighters don't lose massive fights by not fighting. I actually think if Scott had started like that Frampton would have knocked him out - look how Carl made him miss and outpunched Quigg toe to toe in the last round.

Regarding what Carl said about fight being boring and he knew it, he's been fairly vocal all along about the pantomime which is SBO and selling the fight beforehand.

Really happy for Carl. 115-113 is surely a joke though. Quigg's management team got it all wrong, essentially a 5 round head start given and judging by the aftermath interview Quigg didn't even realise just how dull he was for the first half of this fight. Funny stuff.

Sounds like Joe Gallagher was telling a few porkies for dramatic effect to the guy doing the interview - claims he had it level at 2-2 each when we know Quigg was told he was 6-1 down ...

Was a hard watch for most of the contest but a fight eventually broke out in the last 4 or 5 rounds. Not sure what SQ was doing for the first 7 rounds though.
