Quigg wasn't get tagged but you can't really win rounds by not throwing and you want judges to award a round to someone.
He was the stronger fighter and I think they will regret not using that strength earlier. A rematch can happen. Not straight away but it's defiently still on the table. |

Would anyone really want to see a rematch of that fight??
It was boring for the most part, with no-one even attempting anything half decent. So a rematch, no thanks, they had their chance to impress tonight, and both failed big time. |

Which fighters own the other two World title belts as Quigg could fight one of those two

No one will fight Rigondeaux (no mention of him at all on Sky lol) so I suppose Frampton will move up and we can have some tedious manufacturing of a Selby v Frampton fight.

They did mention Rigon on SBO and even pulled up his stats.

Must have been afterwards, I was long gone.
Quigg might fight him mind you, he's got nothing to lose. |

They defo did mention Rigon and another guy who's name escapes me. Rigon would floor both Carl and Scott.

Shingo Wake. He's the IBF mandatory.

Wake's alright but winnable, and would be the logical next move for Frampton if he's actually staying at super bantam. Otherwise it's Rigondeaux or Donaire, neither of which I think end well (I actually give him a better chance against Rigondeaux).

There's chat that Quigg's jaw was possibly broken from round 4 but that's unconfirmed.

He didn't take his gloves away from his face for that to happen. I scored it 3 up to Frampton and I was being slightly generous to Quigg in a couple of rounds. Hard to fight a guy that doesn't want to fight. |

Problem for Frampton v Rigo is the money? I don't think there is enough money in the fight for Frampton to take the risk. I don't blame him for that.
Props to Quigg fighting with a broken jaw. Frampton v Selby @ Featherweight? |

Shite fight, knew Quigg would start like he did in the Cuban fight but he did even less here. Frampton deserved to win, terrible cards. Jim Watt needs to be KO'd from commentary from now on.
Eddie has put a pic up on twitter of somebody's broken jaw, if it it Quigg's then he did even better in the 2nd half of the fight to fight through with that. Can't see Frampton taking on Rigondeaux, think he takes the IBF mandatory and drops the WBA. |

Am completely amazed that Froach and Jim Watt had it as a draw?!! For the the first 5/6 rounds Quigg was just covering his face and did not want to engage in any kind of fighting.
Really frustrating as when he did start to fight in the latter part of the rounds he was on top (bar the last round). Quigg can only blame himself for losing. |

So it looks like frampton is gonna have to vacate a belt because of 2 mandatory challenges from WBC and IBF. It find ridiculous that this is allowed to happen. What's point winning them if you have give one up. Fury had to do same. Surely that needs sorting.

I'd love to see Terence Crawford in a unification fight with one of the other title holders.

Not always. The IBF are strict but other bodies usually allow leeway for unification fights. |

Fair play to Quigg for fighting on from round four with a fractured jaw but:
It was a fair punch that did the damage and it doesn't excuse the first three rounds where he hardly threw a punch in anger himself. |
