Spot on.

He's making a mockery out of his career & if he fights Briggs after knocking over this latest daffodil, all bets will be off as far as I'm concerned.
I'm almost certain haye will fight Briggs. This is a guy who fought Audley Harrison when there was no need to. If it gets him money then he'll do it.

just watched the boxing on sky great night apart from some shocking judges scores how did one give warrinton by 13 they are a jock oh good luck to smith tonight
Both the main fights were pretty good and for once the main fight on sky was competitive. Unfortunately the night was spoiled by some very dodgy scoring. I can forgive the scoring in the hall fight to an extent because it was tricky to score but the cards were still too wide. As for the Warrington fight I think the judges were watching a different fight, 120-107 though is beyond a joke, amagasa won at least 3-4 rounds comfortably including the last and where was the 10-8 round? Very odd scoring that just made no sense

Charles Martin hasn't turned up on any night.

He's a poor fighter who should never have been anywhere near a HW 'Championship' fight, even a bogus one like this for a spurious title stripped away from the real & linear champion.

Look at his highlights reel on YouFace to see what I'm talking about!!
I can't agree with this, Martin was the most intimidating heavyweight since the '58-60 version of prime Sonny Liston.

Although Audley Harrison almost had the same aura of invincibility as Charles.

Does anyone know what channel will be televising the Golovkin-Wade match?

This is true.

I used to like David Haye, but his heavyweight career is one of the most cynical boxing career's ever.

I'm half hoping that Arnold Whathisname beats him; that would be hilarious, although he'd probably say his little finger gave out during the bout!

If he is serious about getting back to the top - this fight shouldn't be anywhere near his radar. If he wants to knock over bums then I don't really see the point of his comeback, other than adding a couple of hundred thousand to his bank balance.
Quite. The 'financial difficulties' he encountered in Dubai last year have far more to do with this comeback than any desire to prove himself.

I see GGG got yet another knockout win last night. Is that 22 in a row now? I wonder if any big names will actually step up and fight him soon.

Would love to see Billy Joe face him just to see him get KO'd inside a round.

He has been avoided like the plague.

Then again you can hardly blame his opponents - the man appears to have no absolutely no weaknesses.

A nuclear blast-proof chin, compact and precise boxing technique and awesome power in either hand.

But it times like this when I start to hate boxing. He is at the top of his game and yet all the big names are allowed to dodge him. The poor guy is yet to fight in Vegas or get a real big pay day.

He is 34 so time is not on his side either. Just feel sorry for the guy, he is clearly very talented but I fear he will never get a super fight. Looking at his list of opponents I can honestly only pick out a handful of names I know.

And it will be unfairly used against him in future when people discuss fantasy middleweight matches against Ketchell, Greb, Zale, Cerdan, LaMotta, Robinson, Tiger, Monzon, Hagler, Hopkins etc.

Very true. Most people who only watch boxing here and there will more than likely never have heard of GGG. I asked my brother if he knew him but nope, never had. I personally feel as well he will never get the chance to hit the heights he could reach if given the chances.

Wonder if Eubank Jnr will be shouting from the rooftops looking to square up to GGG any time soon - erm....... I should think not.

Eubank is probably one of the few boxers who would actually get in the ring with GGG.

He has the self belief in himself, unfortunately i can see him being ko'd fairly early.

Can see Eubank having a rematch with Billy Joe before the year is out and this time beating him. Then maybe Eubank will go on to fight GGG early next year, as like you say he thinks he is the best ever already lol.

I think in say 2/3 years time Eubank could be very very good but right now he would be destroyed by GGG

Is he a draw?

His fight v David Lemieux on PPV bombed. Nobody bought it.

Golovkin may not like it but the true star in Canelo and that means GGG has to play ball and agree to fight at catchweight. I don't like it but canelo is the money man of the division and for the fight to happen GGG will have to concede.

Eubank would fight him and I actually think would do a lot better than bums like Wade.

Not a draw right now in terms of PPV but I think with some good marketing and a couple of bigger fights he would be a big draw. Like you say, a fight with Canelo would be ideal.

Canelo has to beat Khan though in 2 weeks, which on paper looks like a win for him but Khan may pull of a win. I feel Khan will lose speed though by putting on the extra weight and his chin has always been very suspect.

Khan already slowed at 147. No doubt he will be slower. He has quick feet though and I think early will cause Canelo some issues. However Canelo will get close and by the middle rounds get Khan out of there.

Khan needs to go for a KO before round 5/6 as like you say when it gets to the middle rounds Canelo power will show through and he will beat Khan.

Just good to see Khan back in the ring, been nearly a whole year since his last fight.

If he does that he will get tagged. Canelo does have good timing.

Khan just doesn't hit hard enough. Those quick combinations look dazzling but he doesn't put people away with punches. I see him struggling to keep Canelo away and then getting pinned on the ropes like Peterson did to him. Khan hates pressure.

Dominic Breazeale is next to fight Joshua. Good fight for their respected levels, terrible fight for a World title. Breazeale will get sparked easily. Please don't fall for the hype and reward Eddie Hearn by putting any money towards this if it's PPV.

Breazeale's last fight.

That would be fatal for Khan: like others have said, he just does not hit hard enough.

What Khan has in spades in insane hand-speed & the only way he can beat Alvarez is by boxing & utilising his speed.

Khan needs to look at Jimmy Young v George Foreman or Sugar Ray Leonard v Marvellous Marvin Hagler for inspiration.

He does not want to get into a punching matching with slower & more powerful foe.

I'll get it as I like Murray v Groves.

Was the issue that Stiverne dropped out of the top 15?

Christ knows with these bodies, money probably. The IBF's current top 3 are 2 unranked and a guy who is serving a ban... go figure.
