Well done Joshua, although I still think that when he comes up against a fighter who isn't fleshy, and who actually tries to move out of the way of punches, he will get knocked out. I can see him getting beaten 2 or 3 times in his career if he comes up against decent opposition. The quality of his last two opponents has been poor, and Dillian Whyte is the best he's faced so far, and the only fighter who has tried to take the fight to him. I still see too much Frank Bruno in him, although he's better than Bruno, no doubt about that. When Joshua gets tagged by a fit, up for it opponent, we'll see how good he is.
Eubank jnr against GGG? Crazy. To massage his already huge ego, he has stepped down to fight decent national level opponents and beaten them easily. Stepping back up to the cream of world level, he is going to get a nasty shock, and GGG will destroy him. You do what Carl Froch did when he was preparing for the best, you fight other world class fighters, not domestic level opponents. Before getting beaten by Saunders, Eubank snr claimed his son was better than Mayweather. Haven't they learned anything? Self belief is one thing, but deluded nonsense is another. Too much ego, and not enough experience at world level. GGG by KO. |

If i was eubank I'd go for Saunders, get his revenge. He definitely needs to have a few fights at a much higher level. I've never actually seen GGG fight but if stories about him are true then maybe going straight up to that level isn't something he should do.
As talented as he is Eubank would be utterly destroyed at this (or probably any) stage of his career. That is no disgrace as every other middleweight on the planet (including Canelo) would face the same brutal fate. |

Thurman vs Porter was absolutely sensational. One of the best fights since Gatti vs Ward.
They fought the 12th round like it was the 1st, absolutely incredible. |

In the second round, he takes a decent uppercut early on and then let's himself get hit a few times later.. His head does not move an inch from the impac!

They fought the 12th round like it was the 1st, absolutely incredible. Sometimes the best in a division do fight each & put on a cracking contest to boot. Let this fight be a lesson to all the prima donas out there who hide behind their trinkets whilst avoiding the best; or those who insist on ridiculous catchweights; or those that insist on 98/02 purse splits! Full marks to Thurman & Porter & lets hope that there is a rematch, because Porter did enough to warrant it, although I do believe Thurman was the rightful winner. |

I've watched the last 5 GGG fights live and the man could get hit by a train and still come forward to unleash hell on anyone. I do think that the Canelo fight would be his toughest though. |

Kell Brook is now saying he wants to fight Thurman.
Heard it all before. I take it the Vargas fight isn't happening then? Predictably for Brook. |

It's quite a feat that Team Brook & the IBF have managed in an era & division with so many top fighters, that they always manage to dig up huge great piles of manure to put in front of Brook, instead of a quality opponent.

Brook's career is so frustrating because I believe he has serious talent & could be a major player at 147, which is saying something because the division is stacked.

Considering Hearn likes to mock other promoters (Warren), he's done an awful job with Brook.
So many big fights they're avoiding. Vargas, Thurman, Garcia, Spence, Bradley, Peterson, Broner? Instead we get Bizier and the constant disrepecting of Khan. |

The welterweight division is stacked in a way that we haven't seen, arguably since the early 80s, yet somehow, a so-called world champion like Brook can't find a decent challenger? ![]() Hearn also seems very obsessed with Khan who is largely old news. I believe that Khan might still have something to offer, but he has to prove it first, as he has barely had a career at welterweight & had not held a title in five years & that wasn't even a welterweight title. Hearn/Brook need to be looking beyond Khan, because it's about time they stepped up. |

I think Khan could probably beat Brook anyway.
I can understand why Amir won't take the fight. Why dedicate 10 weeks away from your young family to give - win or lose - Brook and Hearn a massive payday after all their disrespect? Let's not forget Beefy has offered Brook a title shot which he didn't take as well, at super welterweight. |

Ha the kell Brook haters can't say anything. Kell Brook has not been avoiding anyone. All the 147 fighters have been avoiding him.
Man gets offered GGG and accepts straight away. Happy that kell has got the big fight he deserves. Tough fight and would have been easier at catch-weight. Hoping I can get tickets next week |

Fair play to Brook. He's a great fighter but out of his depth.

Fair play to Brook for finally fighting someone decent, but I feel he'll be out of his depth at Middleweight against a KO specialist like GGG.

Kell brook is the most avoided man at 147lbs. Nobody wants to fight him. Vargas was offered $2 mil and didn't sign. Garcia turned down big money, Khan didn't want it.
I'm shocked his moving up to 160lbs but will be well paid and rightly so. Eubank Jnr is getting his career wrecked by his dad. Listening to Hearn, Eubank Snr seems a nightmare to work with. They were supposed of demanded the ability set ticket prices and wanted to triple the price which Joshua tickets cost, control the operations of the show, and demanded a bigger slice of the PPV revenue which would be more than what Joshua gets. This is ludicrous and no way could Matchroom accept those terms. |
