Good fight.

I had Lineras 118-112. Hope he fights Flanagan rather than rematch Crolla though.

Wasn't scoring but thought Linares won clearly. No need for a rematch, it was a decent fight, Crolla was game enough, but that's about it. I liked Paulie calling out the nonsense from Terry O'Connor, terrible British reffing is glossed over too often on Sky.

Malignaggi was brilliant. I real smart addition to the commentary booth (far more enjoyable now Watt and Halling have gone).

Crolla did very well, took plenty of very good rights, hooks and straight, also uppercuts and didnt go down. Linares looked the better fighter, very fast hands and tough.

Not a fan of Adam Booth as a ringside commentator.

Very good fight last night but in a lot of ways Crolla reminds me of Hatton. A very very good fighter but just short of being world class.

Linares was very comfortable from round 6 onwards and won the fight by a good 5/6 rounds for me. A rematch is something Crolla deserves, if not just for a good pay day but he does not have the power to beat Linares in my opinion.

Also note Tyson Fury was ringside for a bit last night, hardly a great idea after just pulling out of a fight 24 hours before. Hardly helps himself does he.

Tyson Fury has lost the plot.

I don't really care for the stupid alphabet boys & their cornflake packet trinkets, but they need to strip Fury of his titles & let Wladimir fight someone; maybe Luis Ortiz for the belts, then once Fury is ready to fight, the winner can then fight him; that is assuming Fury is ready to fight sometime within the next 100 years!

Linares v Crolla was a cracking fight, both put their heart in to it and it's one of the best I've seen for a while.

Re Fury, its a shame he's not fighting, he's a great boxer and a great character for the sport, he adds some colour to the boring heavyweight scene too, very nice man when I met him too.

I bet none of the boxers are like they are when in fight mode. It's just an act to sell the fights. People who know Tyson have said as much that he's a guy with a big heart. Sometimes though he needs to think before he speaks.

I also find the press hypocrites in regards to Fury's comments.

They sometimes purposely egg him on to say something 'controversial' and then precede to knock him down big time when he does. I know Fury should be smarter, but the British media should know better when dealing with a men with mental health issues.

Yep, he's done, the motivation went as soon as he beat Klitschko. Suspect the only way he'll be back in the ring is if he needs the cash in a few years time. Like you say, you do wonder what state he'll end up in without boxing to keep him in check.

The positive test was last week, the day before he pulled out of the second fight for 'medical' reasons. He's clearly never really been up for the rematch, even after the new date was set, so the whole thing's just been a massive pisstake by everyone involved.

Sad news and now we get calls for boxing to be banned. Did he have a pre existing problem because his partner has said he had really bad headaches before the fight, surely he should have got checked out as a precaution.

Sad news on towelll but boxing should not be banned because of one horrible outcome the ref should take some blame by protecting the fighter

Just seen Joseph Parker, the kiwi heavyweight, for the first time. Heard a lot about him over the last nine months or so.... very odd finish to the right. The Russian clearly had enough and he was on one knee after an exchange when Parker hit him in the ribs. The Russian squirmed like a footballer on the ground and was counted out!

AJ v klitschko. Not sure if AJ is ready for that fight. Would definitely be a bigger shock than when fury won.

Cleverly was getting beat, no matter what the pundits said, he was lucky.

Good six rounds though. Braehmer looked stronger.

I had it 3-3 in rounds when it was stopped, it was an interesting scrap, shame it ended like that.

Good for him like, but there hasn't been much improvement in him really.
