I feel sorry for Klitschko and ashamed Tyson is British and the way he has acted. He might have his problems but he should at least have had some honour in being honest with him. He should have stepped away from boxing and given up the belts. Boxing has only been good for him he has let boxing down not the other way around.
He is likely to have been banned anyway due to drug taking and strip of his belts. I doubt almost hope we dont see him in a ring again. |

Tyson Fury has sent out a tweet saying he is not retiring and was just having a bit of fun with news media.

It's a struggle to think of any redeeming aspects of his personality... Hopefully the respective boxing organisations will ignore him from now on.

Fury gave us a scare there for a second, glad he's not packing it in because the easily offended social media wanted him too.
We need him to beat the overrated Bodybuilder Josh (Unless Wlad or Parker gets there first, which they both likely will). Take time out and get your head clear Tyson and go and get your titles back. |

A shame really as he could have become another British sporting hero - now just sounds like a prat.

Fury is an embarrassment. The sooner he is stripped of his belts the better.

It's clear Tyson is mentally unstable so hopefully he gets some help.

LOL, I don't think anyone really gives a toss whether he does or doesn't retire. The guy's simply an embarrassment to boxing and sport in general. If he wants to get his shit together and show he's a credible boxer, then fine, he should go ahead and do that, but if, as most people suspect, he's just a muppet with a phone and a Twitter account, then I don't think the world of boxing will miss him. He had his 15 minutes, now he can join the ranks of the other one-hit wonders, too scared and/ or un-fit to get back in the ring.
I hope he does get himself together. His behavior has been erratic due to his mental health, but some of us remember what a tremendous talent he is - doing things the right way, becoming champion on these shores, fighting eliminators before beating Wlad away in Germany comfortably. I'm sure he would've preferred tapping Charles Martin on the nose and winning the belts though. Apparently doing that makes you incredibly popular. I'm pretty sure a mentally unwell man isn't "too scared" to get back in the ring either. Think people need to educate themselves on the subject. Billy Joe Saunders seemed genuinly worried about Fury on his iFL interview today. People should be getting behind Tyson instead of giving him even more grief, especially as he is clearly very fragile atm. |

Tyson seems in a very bad place, some quotes from a interview he has done ;
‘I don't even want to wake up. I hope I die every day. And that's a bad thing to say when I've got three children and a lovely wife isn't it? But I don't want to live anymore. And if I could take me own life – and I wasn't a Christian – I'd take it in a second. I just hope someone kills me before I kill me self. I'll have to spend eternity in hell. ‘I'm in a very bad place at the moment. I don't know whether I'm coming or going. I don't know what's going to happen to me. I don’t know if I’m going to see the year out to be honest.’ ‘I've not been in a gym for months. I've not been training. I've been going through depression. I just don't want to live anymore, if you know what I’m saying. I've had total enough of it. They've forced me to the breaking edge. Never mind cocaine. I just didn't care. I don't want to live anymore. ‘So cocaine is a little minor thing compared to not wanting to live anymore. |

This is as bad as it gets for someone so we should show some sympathy.
Some people overcome the darkest depression, some don't. Given that he chose to be a fighter for a living - and you must need huge amounts of self-belief to fight for a living - perhaps he can find that fighting spirit from within and beat this illness. |

Why on earth was the fight rescheduled if he hasn't trained since May?
His camp have known for months he was in no state to fight, what have they been doing? |

Cracking fighter he was. It's a shame that he succumbed to cocaine, as that really affected his career & led to him missing out on some potential blockbuster fights in the early to mid 80s. RIP Champ.

Tyson Fury has now vacated his WBA & WBO belts. It was only a matter of time I suppose. Hopefully now he gets the help he needs without the stress and comes back to the ring at 100% health to reclaim what's rightfully his.

Whyte vs Lewison for British Heavyweight Burns vs Relikh for WBA Super Lightweight Whyte v Lewison wasn't that great, not sure what's happened to Whyte, he looked v good against Joshua but has looked mediocre against much worse opponents, I think maybe he gets drawn up or down to the level of his opponent. |
