Rather unsurprisingly perhaps Fury's license has been suspended

I watched both, the Burns fight was good, and burns did well.

Whyte v Lewison wasn't that great, not sure what's happened to Whyte, he looked v good against Joshua but has looked mediocre against much worse opponents, I think maybe he gets drawn up or down to the level of his opponent.
Think the fight against Joshua showed how raw and protected Anthony is more than anything. Whyte has always been poor in my opinion. Think it will be comfotable for Chisora if that fight happened.

Shame for Tyson. Will be a big loss for the time being, but hopefully he'll be back when he is feeling better.

So Fury has given up his belts

Who is the Mandatory challenger for these two titles and is it possible that Joshua and Kiltschko could both fight for these two World title belts

Apparently:

Joshua vs Klitschko for WBA and IBF

Parker vs Ruiz for WBO

Detest Bellew with a passion. Haye doesn't need that fight, but I hope it happens in December.

Haye destroys Bellew in the first 3 minutes.

And did I hear one of the Sky commentators call Bellew the "number 1 Cruiserweight in the world"? They are having a laugh surely?!

Exactly this. Haye has no interest in fighting at Cruiserweight and even less interest in fighting Bellew. There is no money to be made and Bellew could not even sell out the Liverpool Arena tonight.

I am not Haye biggest fan but he would destroy Bellew with ease.

I think Bellew/Hearn know Mairis Briedis beats him, so they'd rather fight Haye in a big payday instead.

Bellew was very critical of Haye, saying amongst other things, he was only in it for the money, does Bellew fight for free, or does he ask his team to get the best possible deal for his fights??

If as I suspect it is the latter, surely that is a bit hypocritical of him there?

I hope to god this fight does get made so Haye knocks this knob head out!. Bellew was bang outta order tonight kicking that Toblerone thing and spitting on him. Totally disgraceful of a so called champ, and I'm quite surprised that Haye kept his composure like he did. Haye has him sparked out inside 3 rounds if and when they get in the ring.

Ok win tonight by bellew against lets face it an average opponent at best but I really cant stand him, such an unlikeable character.

Sky and matchroom are obviously trying to build up some hype over the bellew vs haye fight, the altercation tonight looked a bit staged and set up to me. Presumably the idea is to have that fight on ppv hence the nonsense tonight but would anyone really pay for that?? I for one am never paying for a ppv fight involving haye ever again after his pathetic showing against klitschko.

Personally I can't understand why bellew wants to fight a joke like haye. He should have stayed retired. Now he's fighting in a pointless fight.

Because he knows any decent cruiserweight will beat him.

Why does Bellew want to fight David Haye at Cruiserweight when it would make more sense for Bellew to move up to Heavyweight as that is where the money is

And Haye would have trouble to lose weight to fight at Cruiserweight as he has not fought at that weight for years

Because Haye's power at heavyweight will destroy him, and even if haye cuts down to cruiser, which he won't do, the same is likely to happen.

No chance.

Would be another farcical fight for Haye to add to the other two farces he's engaged in since returning.

OK, Bellew would be a better opponent than both De Mori & Arnold Whatshisname, but that's not difficult, as my next door neighbour's cat is better than those two!

Agree. And your neighbours cat probably wouldn't so bad at slipping punches as Bellew is. As soon as Haye catches him, the fight's over.

Hasn't still got to fight Briggs or are we just taking this as a given that haye will win?

I completely forgot about Briggs. They verbally agreed on that if they won their last fights didn't they. I'd much rather see that fight than Bellew, that's for sure. But Bellew would be (only slightly) bigger box office despite Briggs manfully hyping the clash like it's Ali V Frazier......

Just got some mumbled news while watching a match that Haye is in line to fight the winner of (I think) the WBO title fight in (I think) New Zealand in early 2017.... sure it will be confirmed or denied by this time tommorrow....

Must mean Joseph Parker if that's the case... he's got a bit of buzz about him. Have only seen his last fight when this giant Russian who he was up against had no interest in being there...

I personally think it is too soon - but if Joshua does beat Wlad he really could become the next world superstar - and Anthony will not have to suffer the repulsive jingoistic shit that the yanks spewed about Lennox for decades (whilst previously worshipping the vastly overrated thug, rapist 'gangsta' Tyson).

The net has made the world a smaller place and even their horribly biased boxing press have had to temper their racism now.

This Eggington vs Gavin fight has turned into a humdinger of a fight , both just standing and trading punches
