My mate was pointing out to me earier that this must be one of worst PPV shows on record.

The top 5 fights on the card:
Luis Ortiz v David Allen. 250-1 on,
Katie Taylor v Viviane Obenauf. 100-1 on.
Anthony Joshua v Eric Molina. 50-1 on.
Scott Quigg v Jose Cayetano. 33-1 on.
Dereck Chisora v Dillian Whyte. 10-3 on Whyte.

Obviously Sky have tried to sell this fight as not only an AJ exhibition but a total all-out war between 2 of the baddest men on the planet, except one is the rabbit punch world champion and the other is more than likely to gass out after 5 or 6 rounds, but this is the ONLY competitive fight of the night according to the bookes ... HEY what do they know??

Molina will be AJ's toughest fight and he's gonna have to put on a top performance to prove he's ready for the bigger fights. If he can put Molina away in under 9 rounds then at least he's done better than wilder.

Parker vs Ruiz now, should be a good fight.

Molina has faced tougher and beaten better opposition than Joshua has.

Which makes it a such a surprise when he's dismissed by some. His record fights 28
Wins 25
Wins by KO 19
Losses 3
Last fight knocking out tomasz adamek in the 10th. Hopefully AJ doesn't take him so lightly.

Exactly. Adamek is leagues above anyone that Joshua has faced before. I've seen so many people suggest that it'll be a one rounder, although I think Joshua will win, I think we'll see the second half of the fight.

I don't think the top guys will fear Parker after today's performance, he seems to lack confidence.

The card is really running late now, they must be hoping for Quigg and White to finish with early knockouts, otherwise it'll be nearer 11:30 before Joshua gets on

Was just wondering what time Joshua is likely to get on. If this quigg fight goes the distance thats going to be around half ten, give it ten mins for some reaction, another ten mins for the whyte/chisora walk ons that takes it to about ten to eleven. If that goes the distance i can see Joshua getting started at midnight.

Sky padding out a poor lineup is now working against them.

Didnt even realise this katie taylor fight was still to come. Absolutely pathetic its 3rd ranked on the bill. Ive no issue if women want to box but stop artificially bumping them up

WTF is going on now, a woman's fight, they should have pushed this to the end of the card, it will be gone midnight before Joshua gets on now.
Sky and matchroom are a joke!

cant believe this fight is higher up the bill than quigg, smith or ortiz.

Why on earth was Quigg and Taylor on so late?

Yafai match should have been followed by Whyte/Chisora.

This must be a first. People who have paid a lot of money for a night of boxing meaning that there is too much I always associate a night of boxing going on well past midnight anyway. Last fight night I went to I didn't get home until 2am

I refuse to pay for Box Office so am enjoying it on 5 Live. Mike Costello is an outstanding commentator

15000 fans trying to leave the MEN well after midnight, is irresponsible at best.

It's fine sat at home on your sofa, but the promoters have to be responsible for the fans in attendance.

Sky and Matchroom have created an awful piece of scheduling here.

Main events should start at 10:45 at the latest, that's an accepted fact.

I disagree. You know the schedule in advance and you are under no obligation to go. As I say, last fight night I went to ( which was on Sky ) ended near 1am. Didn't hear any moaning as we had had a great night of boxing

And when you say it's 'an accepted fact', I must admit I haven't seen that fact so I take your word for it.

Credit where credits due, that was a good fight. Neither deserve to lose.

Tony Bellew and Richie Woodhall have both said it's the best heavyweight fight they've seen for years. Both said either could have won.

No surprise it's a split decision.

Great fight - pretty brutal and neither was prepared to be beaten. I think Whyte just shaded it as he had the cleaner punches and the lack of jab from Chisora has cost him yet again ...

No UK TV broadcaster wants their main event to start after midnight, most of the casual viewers will have gone to bed by now.
