I still truly believe if Tommy's hand had not broke in the first few seconds of round one that Marvin would have been KTFO - despite having the best chin of all time.

Nice one Keyser... sad to see the damage that taking all those hits does to boxers, in this case with Hearns speech.

![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=396c6NrTjLQ Hearns detonated his best Right hand off his chin & his hand broke! Hagler had one hell of a chin, because he was past his prime during that fight & during the subsequent fight with the arguably harder hitting John Mugabi. Mugabi hit Hagler with some hellacious shots & gave Marvin a good going over, but Marvin still bust him up. It was this fight that convinced Sugar Ray Leonard to return & challenge Marvin, because he could see that Hagler had lost a lot of his speed & was taking lots of punishment. Leonard wisely chose not to slug it out with Hagler & managed to squeak by the Marvellous one on points, because that was the only way to beat Hagler by then. Anyone trying to put Hagler away was always going to end up flat on his back, looking up at the stadium/arena lights. |

As for the bald one a fantasy match with a GGG (a fully fledged monster of a middleweight) would be one for the ages. Chin - evens - as a far as I can tell. Power - GGG. Boxing ability - Hagler. Result? I will leave others to speculate on that one for a while. ![]() Oh and a very Happy New year to all you DS boxing fans!

Surprised the Frampton/Santa Cruz rematch isn't PPV.
