I thought Wilder vs Stiverne was signed sealed and ready to go. But since Haye cancelled again, there doesn't seem much mention of that, just Fury wants to fight either of them, especially Wilder.

Weigh in done now onto the show.

Can't wait for Froch Groves tomorrow. Really can't split them. It's a true 50/50 fight IMO.

Think Groves has got to Froch with the games he has played in the build up.

Should make for a great fight.

Undercard looks good too and with Andy Lee being in the bill I wonder if Booth will be in the Groves corner?

If your getting the PPV watch early as Fielding is up first 6.

The undercard is terrible. Fielding v Blackledge is the best fight on it and that's on at 6.

Do you really think this is 50/50?

I just can't see Groves getting past 5 or 6 rounds to be honest. He's been talking a good fight, but I thought he actually looked scared at the final press conference and I think he will freeze on the night.

I expect Groves to run and mess Froch around a bit, but I see Froch eventually trapping him against the ropes at some point and forcing the referee to step in.

Cardle, Smith, Fielding, Quigg, Campbell, Lee, and the other Olympian whose name I can't remember, decent talent there. Doesn't matter too much who they are against, always good to see some fighters in action.

Yes I do. Froch struggles against movement. Groves can get a few hits in and get out of range. Plus I think Groves chin will surprise a few.

Really looking forward to it though. A bit of agro between the fighters always makes it that bit more exciting.

If I'm paying extra then it certainly does matter who they're against. No excuse for not making competitive fights on pay per view.

Can see your point but think the main event has sold it to most, the under card is just a bonus.

Think a couple of them should be competitive too. Either way it's a full night of boxing with some decent fights on boxnation too.

This is how I see it too.

Froch is fairly slow & he does struggle with slick runners, but his resume is way superior to Groves' & I can't see Groves being able to evade Froch for 12 rounds.

Once Froch gets the jab going & Groves tires, he will be in his element.

I see a mid to late TKO in Froch's favour.

Froch struggles against movement from world class fighters, not guys like Groves who have been far from convincing even at domestic level.

Sure, Froch could never beat a slick fighter like Ward, but Groves isn't slick, he just runs and doesn't often throw anything of significance until he gets trapped on the ropes. If he fights Froch like that he is going to come unstuck very quickly.

I wouldn't underestimate Froch's jab either. I think he will land it plenty even if Groves gets on his bike.

The only way I see Groves winning this is if all those hard fights Froch has been in suddenly catch up with him tonight. He's spent his whole career basically blocking punches with his chin and his last fight with Kessler might have taken a lot out of him.

You're right though, it is an interesting fight and the bad feeling just adds to it. Really looking forward to this one.

Ditto. Though I don't mind who wins. Froch isn't going to get any better and wouldn't beat Ward in a re-match but if Groves keeps developing he might.

On a personal note, after missing out on watching all the last five or six big fights, I'm really looking forward to this one.

It's probably been mentioned but I just heard that they are using a small ring which will apparently give Froch a big advantage . Is that correct ?

Froch does have a great jab and a great chin but as you say struggles against movement. Some fighters look better against high level opposition, Groves could be one of those.

Groves also looks confident ad you have to wonder if Froch has taken it as serious as he would like us to believe.

Really can see it going either way.

Will mean Froch will be able to close the gap easier. 22ft ring is small and time will tell if it's a advantage for Froch or not.
