fury uncle is ill in hospital so i think people should show him respect and in the rematch fury will knock chisroa out and then become whc also looking forward to golvkin vs geale tonight could be a great fight
Golovkin is special indeed.

He appears to have little or no weaknesses at all.

OK, he isn't slow, but his handspeed isn't 10/10 & he does take slightly more punches than he should, but that doesn't appear to be a problem with his technique.

I'd love him to go up to 168lb.

I really enjoyed the Ringside: Holyfield special.

Holyfield was really good & gave great insight.

He's actually more vocal & charismatic than I remember during his fighting days.

Jamie Moore always comes across as one of the good guys, hope the damage isn't too serious. It's not like it's much of a secret who Macklin associates with out there. Be careful who you cross on the Costa del Crime I suppose.

I remember how easily a past his best Holyfield dismantled a still young Mike Tyson.
The second fight was even more telling when he was taking Tyson apart from the opening round. Tyson was bleeding, being bullied and totally outclassed. He knew he was going to be stopped within a few more rounds so he bit Holyfields ear twice in order to get the fight stopped. I lost all respect for Tyson as a fighter from that point on.

I literally could not believe this when I read it - and still can't, to be honest.

Absolutely bizarre!

He always struck me as the typical alpha male. I even remember him ripping the piss out of a transgender person when he had a newspaper column way back when.

It's a funny old world.

Amazing how many nasty homophobes turn out to be in denial about their own sexuality (or gender in this case).

I still can't help thinking this is some kind of joke.

This is the most bizarre news story I can remember. I literally did a double take when I saw the front page of The Mirror in my local Co-op!

Not that I know all that much about Maloney other than appearances at Boxing, but I wouldn't have bet on this outcome in a million years. Two marriages and children too! Like you say-bizarre!

It reminded me of when the Sunday Sport used to have outrageous headlines

What a surprise

Is it April 1st? I honestly thought it was a wind up. Strangest news story of the year so far.

It's fight week! Porter v Brook.

Hope Kell does it but it is going to be tough. We will find out a lot about both fighters. Dont know much about Porter apart from being a beast. I dont think his destruction of Pauli Malignaggi says much really, Kell is in his prime.

Thoughts?

I heard the rumour about Frank (or Kellie) on Saturday and thought it must be a total cock and bull story.

I don't like Brook's chances at all.

He's been very carefully managed and has barely faced a credible opponent. Sure, he looks great when he's on top, but I think he's fragile and he certainly won't be having things his own way against Porter.

Porter is in a different league to the Matthew Hattons of this world.

I don't see Brook lasting the 12 rounds, and even if he does, he's going to lose a fairly comfortable decision.

I'm leaning towards TKO Porter in 10.

Surprising result (for me) Kell Brook wins on a majority decision. One judge by 6 rounds and one judge calls it level !

But Brook took his chance when it came in a tight and at times untidy clash, with the judges handing him the contest 114-114, 117-111, 116-112.

wonder what the haters are gonna say now?

brook handled porter and never looked in trouble. brook's conditioning was superb!

landed the cleaner shots all night. porter is dead average and all he did was come forward like a dog swinging punches!

after round 6 he was lost and done. judges were a bit wild in the scores but kell won that fight.

What on earth were the Sky commentators on about? Brook clearly won that fight, I couldn't believe what I was hearing.
