Has Fury gone back to being British now? I remember people on here and the press we happy for Ireland to claim him. Rather hypocritically I bet you that's all changed.

You could see it in his eyes at the end of the 10th. What a champion he's been though.
They said he looked' frightened' at the start. He can go out with his head held high though.
The King is dead, long live the King!.

It is like the Williams sisters dominance of tennis. They frustrate everyone else coming up through the ranks.
I think tonights result is the best thing that has happened to boxing in many, many years.

Love that Klitschko raised his arms between Buffer announcing the scores and announcing the winner, and then very quickly put them down when Buffer said "From the United Kingdom".

He can't seriously think he won that fight.

The HW division still sux. Vlad will inact the rematch clause.

You have to remember Vlad only dominated as the division has been so poor.

Well i wanted him to win but didn't think he would.

Massive congrats to Fury.

He brings a madness to boxing that can only be good for the sport.

Don't think Wlad will want a rematch.

If the judges have it close don't give them easy out by looking like you think you've lost

Id like to see Fury fight Deontay Wilder next. Right now he's the only half decent American fighter out there.

What did Bunce end up scoring it then??? I know he had it level after 8??

Reading the bbc live text of this is hilarious - they make it sound like an absolute barnstormer with it being to close to call ... it was far from that.

To be honest not really. No one really regards Wilder as the true liner champ. But its good fight nonetheless.

Povetkin would probably jump at the chance and it would be decent money for Fury, but I reckon he should try (risk) a lower ranked opponent and go for a defense or two first...and that's IF there's no mandatory rematch.

I have to admit I didn't see this one coming at all, but fair play to him, he seems to have deserved it.
