Ann is clearly using SCD to bolster her own profile - that's why

It seems disingenuous - facile, even - to believe that she will suddenly stop espousing her reactionary causes at the end of this process. In fact, we
know she won't, because she's still doing it.
So of course she'll use her higher profile for political ends - she doesn't have to hold up a "No to abortion" sign on ITT to do it, she simply has to use the leverage from her profile to promote her lovely pet causes.
And that's why politicians shouldn't be on Strictly.

Her "no-sex" thing is a political stance. Obviously. She's trying to mould public opinion to come round to her way of thinking.
