My HDMI cover is cracked between the H and the D.

It seems to because by the fact that the rubber bung prevents the port from clicking home snugly (word?) and it is held proud in the middle. so if you do try and push it home hard it bends about the middle and cracks.

I've seen other reports of this on other forums. so i thought this might be a warning to other N8 owners to be gentle with it.

I would think a service centre would repair it for free.

How is the phone btw is it worth getting.

Phone is awesome yeah. love it.

I'm sure they will repair it for free yeah. but the part needs redesigning really. if it doesn't get any worse i'll just leave it.

Cool been looking on ebay today like the look of the galaxy also but the camera is a bit of a let down as i own an n86.
