Michael Jackson - Breaking News (NEW SONG 2010)
http://breakingnews.michaeljackson.com/UK/
The king of pop, Doesn't dissapoint. Ok, so it's not legendary. But it's great to pop some shapes to LOL.But still, his voice is considerably deeper, but, i like the song! Its catchy!

It's ok. Sounds too unfinished though. Can't help but feel, as a perfectionist, Michael wouldn't have liked this.

If this is the 'best' unreleased track they could muster then I am concerned.
it is ok and listenable enough, but I was expecting a blockbuster! |

iiuc he's got a 10 album deal with Sony. If this is the best then I shudder to think what'll be appearing on Album no10.
btw just how many songs can you write about how everybody's out to getcha ( at least 13 so far ), Disc2 of HIStory being over half filled with "don't be so mean to me" songs. If more of this sentiment(?) is what's to come in the new album, then I'm staying way clear. |

I'm not a Michael Jackson fan in the slightest, but even to me that sounds nothing like Michael Jackson.
BTW, the song is sh*t. |

He is on there, you can tell his bits. Id say about 20% of it is him.
How these idiots can sleep at night for ruining a mans legacy is beyond me. You can go on torrent sites and downloads tons of unreleased MJ songs that are amazing, (look up hidden treasures) not this shite. Wheres the Lenny Kravitz song that leaked? They shouldve put that out first. At least we know its real and would be a good ad for the album. I didnt agree with the dubbing on some of the 'this is it' songs but this is taking it too far. |

I disagree that this isnt michael jackson, sony wouldnt be stupid enough to risk the kind of money they would lose if this ever turned out to be fake, sure there are added parts that clearly wont be him on some of the songs but whoever he worked with on the song.
Theres lots of comments about that mj wouldnt have wanted the song released unfinished, i agree but he didnt plan to die he would have finished it if he could. I would rather hear his "new" or "unreleased" music in this way than not at all. I also think that given michael jackson intended his unreleased songs to be there to make money for his children when he died that he would on some level agree with them being released. There will always be conspiracy with michael jackson and i expect alot of it is whipped up by the family themselves as they want this to get into the news, they want people to hear about it and the best way is to raise question marks that it even him. But i dont for a second believe it would be released if he wasnt at least in part on every track in the album. |

The trouble is some people are expecting a new album but it's just 10 songs which Michael didn't think were good enough to release when he was alive. This is just a money-making exercise from Sony and anyone else who stands to make some money.

Any real fan would not buy this. He was very picky and a perfectionist, he recorded something like over 40 songs for Thriller and only wanted to release 9. If you like the song, download it for free (obviously not illegally). I do like the instrumental, nice to hear something that isn't electronic.

That's the best thing I can say about it . Sony won't make their expected pot of gold with material of this standard - thankfully . |

Reminds me of the Britney Spears song about the press, "Piece of Me".

Hold My Hand featuring Akon is going to be the first single and will be streamed on MichaelJackson.com and available to buy from this Monday.
http://breakingnews.michaeljackson.com/UK/ However, in its unfinished state, the song leaked out in 2008. Akon recently completed the new and final production of “Hold My Hand.” Akon comments, “The world was not ready to hear ‘Hold My Hand’ when it leaked a couple years ago. We were devastated about it. But its time has definitely come; now in its final state, it has become an incredible, beautiful, anthemic song. |

the below link is an unfinished demo...
but is this really 'lead-single' material? http://www.pp2g.tv/van9wank_.aspx you can tell it was recorded in 2007, it sounds really dated already. I also think its silly of the Jackson estate to release a song that features another artist so heavily. |

Apparently HMH will have more MJ vocals, plus its being marketed as a duet. Breaking News, its 20% MJ at most.
