Is that enough to get a signal outdoors? There might be a good 3 signal outside on the street (which their coverage prediction might show), but inside a house the situation could be completely different. The 1800MHz Orange signal could be much better. The changes might be fine in a lot of cases, but it'd be impossible for them to get it right 100% of the time. |

I would imagine they will do it a bit at a time starting with the strongest areas first, remember they they (and other networks) have recently been given permission by Ofcom to considerably increase 3G power levels which will help with penetrating in to buildings if they do increase it. Remember that with 3, Orange and T-mobile 3G all merging and them already having very good coverage it's only going to get better too. |
