Yay

Hopefully he'll do better than Joe and restore his credibility. He's far more commercial out of the two and deserves a second chance.

Shayne is the most down to earth and very humble person i've known he deserves to be N1.

Play.com only sell the download not the physical single, I think the 2000 copies Shayne referred to on Twitter was 2000 signed pre orders of the ALBUM Still excellent though

Number 4 on Itunes only behind Katy Perry, Take That and Rihanna is an absolutely FANTASTIC result for Shayne, a reward for his great X factor performance

Not surprising really. The man was successful last time, he was going to be sucessful again this time.

Actually no. Christina Aguilera ....

Hopefully this'll show Simon that he made a mistake to shun Shayne for the past 3 years! He could have been huge by now.

I agree he can sing but the song is really weak and superficial.

TBH I haven't seen or heard him since 2005??? so I wasn't sure what to expect on when he appeared again on X-Factor...

I have to say I can't stand the song, but I thought it was a pretty good performance particularly when compared with some of the "bigger names" they have had on there.

I'm really happy for him! He deserves this success, although I do hate the song. I absolutely loved No U Hang Up and Breathless, though. Hopefully, he'll have songs of a similar calibre on his new album.

It is, without doubt, an awful version of the song. That said, he is a very, very good singer, and because he is so sweet and down to earth, probably the underdog of all X Factor winners, and very grateful at his chance to sing on the X Factor, I really, really hope his comeback goes well

Probably drop out of top 10 once the X-factor buzz has died down.Unless he get's onto other TV shows / radio playlists due to the X-factor appearance.Don't think it will be a major hit though. The song didn't stand out at all to me on X-factor at all.My step-niece (if there is such a thing), who is 15 - a (former?) Shayne Ward fan was non-commital when I asked her whether it was a Hit or Shit

You say that but the buzz is strong. He's been doing a lot of promo and his single is still sitting at #4. 3 of his older songs have also entered the itunes chart. He's making sure that everyone knows he is back. Personally, I am not a fan but I think you need to look at the whole promo machine before placing his success solely on the x factor.

Well DS's The Sound lists Shayne Ward as #4 and Katy Perry at #5 in the offical midweeks.

He is also back up to #4 on itunes - is that right is or is my itunes chart mad?

#9 on the offical midweeks and #17 on Itunes. Still rather good for a single no radio or TV music channel would play. I don't think it would even be in the Top 40 without the X-Factor performance.
