best decaff coffee
I have to avoid caffeine. Which is the best decaff coffee? I tend to like colombian or brazilian ie not bitter coffee.
I mean instant or that can be made in a cafetiere/plunger. thanks for any suggestions and are they genuinely caffeine free? |

I had the same problem and tried every decaff coffee sold. I like strong coffee and the best instant I found was Dow Egberts.
I found some proper decaff coffee in Portugal and then found that I could get it here CAFE SENZA. Fortunately I was advised some months later that providing I did not drink more than three cups a day, I could once again enjoy a decent cup of coffee. It is like a ritual now, 3 times a day the world stops whilst I enjoy my coffee. (wish they'd said the same about a cigarette!!) |

Whilst a proper filter coffee man if it has to be decaf instant then Douwe Egberts is my choice.

Douwe Egberts also makes a nice ground and roast coffee in decaff, i agree that Douwe Egberts instant is pretty good as well.,
i would hate to have to have decaff coffee. |

M & S filter Fairtrade Colombian decaff.
M & S instant granules are darn good. Since our M&S food hall closed I have only recently discovered Nescafe Gold Blend decaff seems to be the best of the instants. |

yes I'm on nescafe instant but it's not great
Will try either the DE or the M&S - thanks. As long as they are genuinely caffeine free, not low caffeine? It gives me palpitations so not worth the risk |

Gold Blend decaff is my favourite, it tastes just like the 'real' one. Obviously this is instant.

I used to drink Nescafé Half Caff, until ll the supermarkets stopped selling it. Now I'm left with normal coffee again, I just have to drink a lot less of it.
