I would highly recommend debranding your phone from Vodafone's bloated, crappy custom software. There's excellent and easy instructions here -
http://nokia.nigelcoldwell.co.uk/firmware.htm It's not hard. You're just running some software on your computer (that connects to your phone) and changing a serial number. Takes 5 minutes, if that.
I have an N97 Mini that came with Vodafone software. It was loaded with app's I'd never use, some apps wouldn't find internet connections even though one was present and it was pretty unstable. I followed the instructions, and installed Nokia's own software and it now performs much better (not perfect, but much much better). Also note that when a new software update is released to the public BY Nokia, you won't be able to get it. You have to wait until Vodafone approves it, customises it and then releases it themselves (which can take over 3 months - at one point for the N97 Mini, a further software update had come out before Vodafone had even released the previous one). With an unbranded Nokia, you'll be able to get them as soon as they're released.
Nokia's standard software will remove any references to the Vodafone 360 service or whatever, and allows you to get extra software (for example on my N97 Mini, a Paint-like app, Ovi contacts, Here and now, Mail For Exchange) that weren't offered to me under Vodafone.
Some have said it voids your warranty, but if something does go horribly wrong, you can REBRAND your phone to Vodafone, install their crappy software again and they'll be none the wiser.
