Has anyone noticed any difference after upgrading, it mentioned something about youtube and stuff.

Has it made htcsense.com better for anybody or fixed any codec issues i.e AAC+ quality problems?

It says I'm fully "Up to date"

Still can't get the map on htcsense.com to work etc.

Maybe you will get yours later then, HTC sense seems better, but I don't know if that's just because they have fixed it or whether it was the update.

Gingerbread is rumoured for next week, I wonder how quickly we will be able to upgrade to it on the Desire HD.

Just downloaded it and set it to install on my DHD but I've just had a horrible thought. I have the temp rooting app set to run on boot up each time Really got my fingers crossed that I don't end up with a brick in a few minutes.....

The download worked fine and my handset is fine. And I still have it rooted

The HTCSense.com stuff still doesn't work, in fact I can't even make it ring remotely from the website now which I could do before so now none of the website features work at all!

Never mind, I'll just still to using the handset.

Also got a Flash upgrade with the OS upgrade.

This is 2 upgrades in the short space of less than a month. I hope those with branded handsets aren't going to loose out too much because the Desire HD requires a few bugs ironing out.

This one apparently sorts out a problem with Youtube and improves some screen stuff.

Good to see on the Youtube front, I wrote them an email a short time back stating that whenever I use the Youtube app my DHD has lag issues. Hopefully this is now resolved.

Still no updates offered for me .

Likewise -no map on HTC sense and also - the "ring" function no longer works!

Sounds like you have a branded handset, where did you get it?

T-mobile.

No branding apart from "T-mobile" on the lock screen. Does it get that from the sim anyways?
