In he UK, I thought that Skype was available for handsets. Other than a 3G deal. ?? Maybe they started out that way but then switched to cover all networks?

the 3 network does Skype to Skype free throught its own network. Other networks will do it via your web allowance. If however you use your mobile with wifi it is the same as using your own computer.

ok ok i know im not in the UK but i think the same rules apply:
if your using it via wi-fi theres no issue, if your using it within your data plan then theres no problem if you dont use loads of data by being on it all the time. |

Basically what Geordiesi says.
Skype recently added the app to the market for everyone to use, which means its just another app on the market like all others. Wifi = Free - 3G = Data allowance |
