Getting through to BT?
Can anyone help me a number in the UK where I can call BT. Have not had Broadband for days. Have reported it and having a tracking number.
I have provided BT with a daytime number, a mobile phone number and the number of my landline at home together with a schedule of times when I am available at each numer. On four occasions they have called my landland at home during the day (when I have told them to call my daytime number) and all I keep getting is "we tried to call you to help resolve your problem and you did not answer". Every helpline I try only diverts me to India (whom I have spoken to on six occasions to be told they have reported my fault)! I just need to speak to someone with a half a brain at BT (if that's humanly possible), Thanks guys. |

Assuming that you are BT Broadband customer? (This is the Landline Telephone Forum.)
Write a letter of complaint to Sir Michael Rake. Chairman British Telecommunications plc, 81 Newgate Street, London EC1A 7AJ. Post it First Class and someone WILL get back to you in short order and they WILL get your problem fixed. |

Regards David If my service is not restored when I get home I will get back to you tomorrow. Obviously with no internet connection I can't get on line to you this evening. But thanks for your e-mail. With every good intention I hope I do not have to renew this correspondence with you again. Regards. |

btcare@bt.com is the genuine address for BT personnel who monitor and help out on forums.
There is no danger in providing the details requested to that email address. You never know, 12 days might not turn into 12 weeks! |
