Matt's odds were ridiculously short ...they're now coming into line ...the one that's off there if Rebecca ...she should be drifting even more ...we shall see ......I'm not sure folk are going to listen to cowell about rebecca much longer ...and that will be her death knell

Not true Chi ....Matt us a dream option ...he can churn out the album as quick as you can say Jack Robison ....Rebecca is going nowhere ......this site put Aiden fourth and he's gone .....what goes on in here is not the real world ....but the real world does encompass facebook this year ...maybe not last year ...but there has been a huge growth in the industry and facebook will reflect what's goin on .....Cher is likely to win ...1 direction also have the numbers to win....Matt is a clear third ......

I think perhaps we should all grasp the fact that Matt loves music and for him it will be a great challenge to make any song sound good ......it's not that he's a snob or not a snob ...he understands the creative process and knows that the person who wrote the song felt for it ....and therefore he will do his very, very best to make any song sound good....that's the fundamental difference between him and every other contestant ....THEY want to sound good..

IMO Matt is the only one from this year that emotes the songs he is given. The rest narrate the songs. They don't feel it at all.
And I also think that we should all consider that Matt possibly rates The First Time I Saw Your Face as one of the best songs ever written ..........his sensibilities in music are a broad church ..of that I'm sure

Matt is favourite to win with the bookies. He has not had any bad feedback from the judges yet. He gave another stonking performance on Saturday. Judging from reaction on Xtra he really wants this. Public love him. Why should he run?

I think for here Cara we may have to say better ...because this slashing of songs to fit into time slots makes it difficult for 'best' ....His best will be on all the albums we have to look forward to once he's out of the game ...and whichever prize it is ...it will be good enough, of that I'm sure. I do wonder whether Cowell is playing him down because he is frightened of losing him...it has its possibilies that approach.
We don't hear him live ..and Brian said it was the stringest audition since you know who ....I'm not sure whether he might not have got a smaller contract from somewhere after that audition ......

Its not that he wont do well - I have 100% faith in him - I just hate him being part of this whole charade now. He's much better than all this malarkey.
