I am not a technical expert at all but I did wonder the exact same thing as you!

Pretty sure in her introduction VT she mentioned being a ballroom specialist.

But, I have to agree - she's more than decent at Latin, but perhaps suffers a touch choreographically in that discipline. Hence Scott's disco Salsa and the rather less well-scored Latin routines she did with Ricky last year.

Her ballroom choreo is supreme!

I think Scott will come good again........we havent seen a Matt Rumba or Salsa yet have we his rumba might be just as dire.

I think Matt's rumba could be great if the choreography is good, which is their weakness. He should have a great body control and I think he is less self conscious about looking ridiculous than Scott, probably because he was a blue Peter presenter doing silly challenges and Scott is an actor being himself on tv for the first time (not sure).
Scott's waltz was over mark specially as the cauldron and the smoke kept the feet hidden most of the time, something essential on the vw.
But I would say that in terms of dancing Matt and Kara are the ones who have been the most consistent, so they are the ones to beat, closely followed by Pamela and Scott.

Rather wishful thinking

Matt has been great out of hold, Scott clearly was not on Saturday.

Matt has been Mr Consistency and I'm sure he and Aliona will have more great routines to come

I am sure you are right...it would be what I would expect from someone with his experience...however I dont think you can write off Scott because he didnt do a good rumba......a lot of great male celebs have not done a good rumba its the nature of the beast.......Mark Ramprakash got a low score for his rumba well into the competition and I dont think anyone would say he wasnt good at latin and ofcourse went on to win. I didnt personally like Scotts Salsa but I dont think it was bad it just wasnt too my taste thats all. Scott isnt my choice of winner anyway Kara knocks spots off them all IMO but I think Scott is a definate contender too, he has just done a lot of ballroom in a row and now needs to get his latin head on.

Guess we'll find out on Saturday.

Maybe they are better technically, doesn't mean either will win, we should all know that by now. Matt has been consistant but he and the partnership doesn't blow me away. I like Kara, she will only get better still but Artem annoys me. I love everything about Scott and Natalie, I think it's wrong to right him off. I think they are the final 3 though. It's only my opinion so don't shoot me.

It's wrong to write anyone off, given that this is not a dancing competition and that it's the Great British Public who decide.

I'm annoyed that I haven't been allowed to see the best of Matt yet, and I'm hoping they don't leave it too late.

Both are good at Latin and Ballroom. It looks like Scott's Latin maybe his downfall.”

After tonight, we might need to rethink!

I think it's between Scott & Kara.

I think there are two great dancers this year: Kara and Scott. The rest range from good to utterly atrocious. But when we factor in the public vote, I doubt that in the end of the day the decision will be between the two best dancers, it'll be between Matt and someone else no doubt

I think that Kara, Scott and Matt are all brilliant dancers and if any one of them win, i'd say a great dancer won.

Ditto Well, not quite - Scott should come a close third, IMO - but I wouldn't weep if he won.
