Brendan Cole "Live & Unjudged"

It was said to be an excellent show and had great reviews up and down the country - so I can imagine the DVD filmed at one of the venues will be very good as well. Those who have the DVD already certainly think so, and it is selling well.
My DVD arrived yesterday from Amazon, not had time to watch it yet due to spending last evening in A&E for approaching 4 hours.
It has got good revues and I know some people who were at the venue when it was being recorded and understand it was really good.

Did you really have to say that?
I went last January & it was am amzing show.Brendan is a great host too,held it all together so well.It's a great evenings entertainment,with the most fantastic dancing,a question & answer session & Brendan singing.
I'm going again next year too

Sorry if I offended you.
I just can't stand the man. I find him smug and a bit sleazy. I admit he's a good dancer (hence being a pro) but I couldn't bear to sit through 2 hours of him, him and more him!
Just wondered if anyone else shared my opinion...
Shame that you feel like that. It was a great show and Brendan is a gifted and natural presenter.

I just dont understand why people have to come on and be so insulting about people - is it because they have the safety of the anonymity of the website. Fair enough you dont have to like the man but no one is forcing you to sit thru a DVD of Brendans.

I'm not being insulting - just expressing my opinion.
This is a forum for discussion about the show - I'm open to people standing up for him, each to their own. If all liked everyone, what a boring forum this would be.
IN MY OPINION, I don't see what the appeal is. That is all.
I don't get the unjudged part. Surely if you are a professional dancer doing live shows and on tv people are going to make all sorts of judgements about you, good, bad or indifferent.

I think it is supposed to be in connection to SCD - not having the Judges there perhaps?!
Really cant understand why this thread was started. If the OP doesnt like Brendan that much why start a thread about his DVD. Just an opportunity to have a go at him perhaps?

I really enjoyed the show this year and have booked again for next year I find him not only a brilliant dancer but a great host too. Shame some people believe in the TV image which is what the producer wants the public to think and not always how things are.

Thoroughly enjoyed the DVD and the behind the scenes interviews. It was a lovely reminder of the two excellent shows I saw in January and May. Really sorry that the next tour isn't coming anywhere near here.
My husband took me to the first show and has never watched SCD and doesn't particularly enjoy dance but he announced at the end that it had been thoroughly entertaining and 2 hours had flown by

From someone who obviously only see's the SCD Brendan,who doesn't understand the his 'passion' for dance,and that he is actually a kind,generous,polite,man,who in his show makes huge thank you's throughout, to his band,his singers,his musical director,and the 5 other dancers he has asked to join him in his show.
He puts on a fabulous show,and yes I am biased because, shock horror,I actually like Brendan...I see his faults,but his good side makes up for them.
I am not a die hard obsessive fan,just someone who enjoys Brendan on SCD and seeing him on other shows too.
This Forum has become the most rude,opinionated,critical,stupid place,and I very rarely visit nowadays,as it used to be a great place to come and talk about SCD with like minded poilte people who resepct each other and their opinions,now it is just people who complain,harang,and generally talk out of their posteriors...
IMHO...It drives me up the wall.I like life,I like the show,I like being nice about people and not voicing all my thoughts if I think they might offend some people.I like to think I am a nice human being.Like Brendan is.

Despite the username, I am not a massive Brendan fan anymore. However, having seen clips from this year's tour, I have promptly booked tickets to go in the new year - it looks like a fantastic show and I'm really looking forward to it.

I haven't talked to you at all this year I miss you.As for Brendans DVD I'm getting it for Christmas, was totally disappointed I didn't have the money or time to go live and even though I asked to go on Brendans tour this year my friends brought me tickets for a load of other things so I probably won't go again. But I will sit back and love the DVD when I finally get it

It has had some very good reviews. I wouldn't class myself as a fan, but on the strength of the reviews I'm thinking of going next year.

Nah,I'm not upset,nor angry,just miss the old Forum style,the fun and the enjoyment,the pleasure and the fact that I got to know a lot of like minded people,and had good chats and discussions,instead of reading all the critical threads,which seem to make up the most of it now.Hope you are well. Saggy - thats sad that you have been turned off by a few posters that insist of being rude. Dont let it turn you off the rest of us and you have lots to add judging by your last post about Brendan. Its not that bad over on the strictly webpage compared to the X factor one - cant understand how the moderators allow half the stuff.
