After watching "you've Been Fired" I have come to the conclusion that Alex must be totally and utterly insane.

I have laughed muchly over the last 90 mins - brill!

I have a bit of a random question - does anyone happen to know the music that was playing as the losing team went into the Bridge Cafe? It was slow piano music. It's driving me mad as I've heard it before! Thanks!

That would seem to rule out the usual suspects - e.g. Laura, Sandeesh, Stuart. No one could describe them as meticulous. Could well be Stella's turn.

Again, it is a character trait rather then describing how good the candidate in question is (though I do agree that the above mentioned names will not be fired, unless perhaps Sandeesh has a hidden reputation on her CV for being meticulous).

I wondered that - fits the strong at maths idea from week one and her with her head in her hands on the excerpt. May be a red herring though. There must be someway he could have got rid of someone else. Odd too because Yasmina made some catastrophic errors and still won so how big an error does it have to be.

Totally missed the show as Twitter messed me up, so watching it now, and loved the way LS woke them up. You could see the candidates are in awe of him from the way they scuttled from their beds to stand there like naughty kids. Love it, and wish LS would do that more often. lol

Don't see why cleaning is mum based, as most humans clean at some stage in their lives. You could see that Alex' team is on a loser. Germ-O-nator sort of thing a bloke would think of.

Black bottle, red label doesn't do it for me, looks like something you'd use to spray at wasps.

Octi-Kleen doesn't look that impressive either, more suited for killing plant mites.

Their advertising is crap too, no imagination at all.

I'd have said Christopher, since military training gives a meticulous attention to detail.

Euwwww! What a naff site. Wouldn't convince me. I work in media and communications and I wouldn't touch Alex with a ten foot pole.

Put him in front of clients? I don't think so

I can't help but be distracted by Chris Bates' eyes. Are they really that blue or are they coloured contacts like Sandeesh?

These things can drive you berserk. It was one of the Gymnopedies, by Erik Satie.

Watching the Boardroom fiasco. Heard Sandeesh say she took a risk, but the question is, why does she need to take risks if she is a capable person. As a team member she should muck in no matter what the task is.

Maybe her *risk* is showing her face too much, and staying under the radar is the better deal.

The idea of these candidates being Team Players is a lot of bull.

I had a quick look at Alex's website, and his career/journey page. Odd that it doesn't seem to mention the Trafford Centre at all... When was he meant to have worked there?

I enjoyed this episode a lot. And I surprised myself with just how much I was willing Sugar not to fire Sandeesh. Somehow I've got to like her in spite of myself.

yep you're right.

I don't get any 'true' team play from any of these people, even despite the fact that they try to make it look that way.

I'm not impressed with any of them so far.

I much prefer to know who is out for themselves and saying it.

Laura in that field is the only one I'm impressed with by the fact that she's almost openly admitting that she doesn't care about anything or anybody but to win.

Whereas the others have the same goal, but all too pally wally pretentious shit.

Just imagine this series being sold to Nippon TV and in six months we get coach loads of Japanese tourists turning up just to photograph each other in front of the Bridge Cafe

The terrible canapes and bruschetta and the inedible chocolates don't rank that highly with me either - but his Lordship liked them as they were cheap and profitable - even if no one could eat them. Difficult to see what could out do the Sandalwood mistake if its a catastrophic single slip up in the detail. The chicken pizzas and selling mousetrap Cheddar to the French were wrong on so many levels that you wouldn't describe them as someone just not being meticulous enough.
