I thought it was quite snazzy, although I was half expecting him to burst into some Cole Porter number.

It reminded me of an Edwardian cricketer's uniform, kind of like the one Peter Davison's Doctor in Doctor Who wore, but in grey instead of cream.

You just know that he bought the suit himself, without counselling anyones opinion until after the event. A bit like seeking the teams opinion in 'The Bridge Cafe' after losing the task, asking his colleagues if they thought he was a good PM......too little, too late Alex

Alex: "Mum, look at my new suit. It's like me, it's quirky, it's loud, it's funny, but in an unintentional way, it's quite northern, quite mancunian actually. At times it can look tacky but I think the sparkly tie can detract from that if worn together, what do you think mum"
Mrs Epstein: "I wish you'd taken me with you.....now finish your tea dear and turn off your skydiving video"
