Although she had some good points, she was not able to express them without appearing negative. She was also partially responsible for the colours and design of the bottle.

Laura's weakness appears to be what I shall call "The Lucinda Syndrome" - she speaks up, then falls in the face of stronger characters and then whinges and sulks about not being listened to, resulting in arguments.

Sugar also isn't a great fan of her's, or Sandeesh's for that matter - so they are the ones most likely to go soon. Unless of course, either of them pull off one big victory soon (personally I don't think Sandeesh's presentation is it). She's only a few weeks to do it.

Laura's been on borrowed time since Week 2 (I think) when she was the PM. She would have been fired this week with Alex I believe if it wasn't for him saving her.

She's like Lucinda but without the ability to lead (and any sort of personality beyond whinging). She might have the best ideas in the world but no one's going to take her seriously if she keeps up the little girl tantrum act.

Lucinda had a much better head on her shoulders and was very adept at leading people.

Laura crumbled in her role as PM and has spent the rest of her time squabbling, sulking and not doing a great deal.

She is like Lucinda though in the sense that she makes a scene when she doesn't like something or when she doesn't get her own way. But I did like Lucinda at the time for all her faults, and she of course was an exceptionally good PM. Laura seems to be a better salesperson than Cindy - though she doesn't seem to have any other skills.

Nice eyes.

Seems a bit too girlie for the show. She needs to toughen up. She looks as if she's constantly on the verge of crying.

Moans a lot.

Pretty useless.

Won't win.

She made all the right calls this week. Not her fault Alex didn't listen. Not much else she could do but complain. Amazing in fact that Sugar even thought about getting rid of her, whilst he had the useless Alex there. Even more amazing, that he regretted losing Alex and Nick thought Alex was a good chap. They both have serious problems with smart women, anyone who dares point out that their project manager is useless and not very smart men.

Lord Sugar and Nick

Yeah, that must be why Michelle and Yasmina won

Yeah thats what I meant. She's Lucinda without any of Lucinda's good qualities such as her ability to lead. Lucinda was also somewhat justified in her role as a victim (they were a vicious lot that year, even if Lucinda did play up to it sometimes) Laura just comes across as a petulant woman whose completely out of her depth.

Michelle won on a Sugar friendly story against Ruth and some not very good competition. I think he got the right person but he's been avoiding a repeat ever since. Yasmina wasn't the brighter of the two finalists.

Nick and his Lordship have in the past got rid of umpteen quieter smart females early. Nick has past form arguing against Debra and Kate when they were right. They both found something to praise in Alex this week and kept him last week when he was almost as useless, and both were responsible for previous decisions like Tre or Pantsman staying after bigger muck ups than any female would have survived - not to mention letting Lee actually win the thing. There are types of male candidates both favour and several types of female candidates neither ever wants to keep .

I thought laura was treated harshly this week. She was accused of hiding in this task, yet she tried to get involved.

What! Kate Middleton is attractive. Laura is the exorcist double, and that vile fake posh voice with the lisp .... no, a complete limp fake.

Me too. If she'd kicked up more of a fuss along the lines of Joanna, she would have been accused of being a destructive impact on the team. I thought, given the train wreck PM skills of Alex, she came across quite well this week

I noticed that they listened more to Sandeesh than to Laura who desperately wanted to do the pitch and might have been better.

She can't seem to 'be heard' and taken seriously.

I think she looks so girly maybe that's what's against her?

At least Alex acknowledged Laura's positive contribution and did the gentlemanly thing by not bringing her back in

She showed she was incapable as early as week 2 but for some bizzare reason it was more convenient to blame all her shortcomings on joanna being agressive and scaring her into not peforming to the best of her abilities

Then there was that scene 2 weeks ago with her sandeesh & paloma where she was basically about to have a cat fight if she didnt get credit for closing the deal..

Now she played the no one listens/i'm not bein fully utilized card this week..I really dont know why they are leaving her in there, shes never exactly shone, isnt that attractive & I wouldnt call her victimitis good TV

Me too.....I think they edit too much out of the boardroom, so the sugar rants don't always make total sense...

Perhaps it is an age thing, but Laura failed to control her team when she was PM and her team-mates don't pay much regard, even when she is right. She wants to be more involved, whereas Sandeesh usually 'hides'. Here, Sandeesh got the nod for the pitch, which suggests that Laura is not rated by the others. Perhaps she should have waited a couple more years.
Nice to look at, but not strong enough so far.

I agree - I am not her bigest fan but she wanted to get involved and she started the pitch because she had time to do it and it was all ignored.

ALso, when she expressed concerns about using children in the ad (rightly so) Karren was there so why didn't Karren help her out there in the boardroom when Sugar brough it up?

Ha ha, glad I'm not the only one who shudders when I see Laura - I expect to see her head spin round at any time...spooky!!

Was Laura on that time travel show with the dress makers? I'm sure she was a customer on that?

She comes over as very negative.
I could never forgive her weeping when she was PM. She could sell the Antarctic to the Eskimo and I couldn't get past the tears. Useless.

(And weird-looking.)
