I think we all ought to just accept that Ann's here to stay, however much people feel she doesn't deserve it. Just ignore the fact that others will be exiting before she does. She may well reach the final, and that would be a pity, in my view, but all it means is that we would have a final with only 2 proper dancers in it.
If she fails to get to the final, then her enduring presence isn't such a big deal, if you think about it - she just gets a "pass" through to the next round, just as if she was as totally separate side-show (like the show-dancers).
In other words, we can afford to have one "joke" couple - and no doubt many viewers find them entertaining - so the BBC will be, I'm sure, very pleased. And fair enough.
What I dislike is when better-than-average dancers get thrown out well before their time, and I think Jimi was an example of those.
The current points system (I keep calling it "scoring system", but "points system" might be more explanatory) certainly doesn't help this situation.
