I bought a K-x a few months ago. My problem is the reverse: too much money spent on lenses. I just spent £600 on the 15mm Ltd.

I'm pleased with the camera, although I think all modern DSLRs are pretty good. Pentax are probably in the lead where low-light/high ISO is concerned.

Warehouse Express are one good UK source of new lenses. They have plenty from Sigma and Tamron as well as Pentax themselves.

There is also a thriving second-hand market. You can get cheap old manual primes that work better today than they did when they were made, 30 years ago - because a modern Pentax has better high ISO. Also, putting image stabilisation in the camera instead of the lens means it works for all lenses, including the ancient ones or the new entry-level DA35/2.4.
