Phones not connecting
I have 5 BT cordless phones.
Just recently 2 of them will not connect when answered. When answered they stop ringing even though I can still hear the others ringing, but I cannot hear the caller. I can still use them to make outgoing calls. Any ideas? Ray. |

The first thing to try is to remove the batteries long enough for the display to drop out.
Do you have more than 1 base unit plugged into the phone line? are these connecting to a diffent base unit to the three that answer? could you remove these two from the system and re-install them. (see your dect connection part of the handbook) |

Thanks Tony.
I only have 1 base unit. I had battery problems when I first had the phones but replaced the cheap Chinese batteries with Duracell re-chargeable and every thing has been fine until recently. The earlier problems were handsets not holding the charge but this is different. I have tried swapping the phones around but it is the same ones that are playing up. The current batteries have been in use for about 12 months. Ray. |
