As most of my favs are already here, I'll just stick in a mention for Matt and Nicole's rhumba to Goodnight Girl when Wet Wet Wet were guests.

Matt and Lilia American Smooth- that dance, plus the VT beforehand, are what Strictly is about for me. Someone having a breakthrough and discovering they love dancing. My favourite dance of any series.

Colin and Erin Quickstep- no-one should be that good in week two! One of the routines that got me watching series three, although I defected and voted for Darren in the final!

Jill and Darren Paso- best Latin routine of any series

Chris and Ola Charleston- the only iconic routine of series seven

Scott and Natalie Quickstep- just loved the choreography, I've watched it again quite a few times. Very stylish.


Of the pro dances- Rebel Yell Jive and Larin Medley, both series five.
The first group Rumba (silver dresses), which I think was series six.

Every one of Alesha & Matt's dances (apart from their paso lol). Their chemistry on the dancefloor was only matched by their chemistry off it. Not to mention their ability to perform and how well suited they were for each other. And performance aside, she was just a fabulous dancer. Best Strictly couple for me by a mile, both in regards to the dancing match and the personality match.

Other than that, standout routines that I loved were:

As for the pro dances, I love most of them but the ones that really stick in the memory are the amazing jive to Rebel Yell in series 5 I think and Flavia & Vincent's AT in series 5. They were a-maz-ing!

So agree Tangerine, the pro jive to Rebel Yell is probably my all time favourite pro dance. I couldnt believe they could move their feet so quickly, Matt Cutler was amazing in that!

I loved Gethin and Camilla's waltz, jive, Argentine Tango, in fact pretty much all of their dances; they were a great partnership. Also Mark and Karen's AT and salsa, and Louisa and Vincent's jive!

Julian Clary's show dance was one of my favourites.
