Whats been the most toe curing/hide behind the sofa moment/dance of your strictly experience to date...

mine would be a toss up between:

Carol Vordermans Rumba
Craig Kelly's Blackpool effort - he actually thought he was Brillllliant
Penny Lancasters jive (yellow kinky boots)
Fiona Phillips - all efforts

Lisa Snowdons fried in bacofoil turkey leg - SHOWDANCE!!! whoop whoop (especially the moment when Brendan needed momentum to lift her - classic)

But Lisa & Brendan's Showdance was the most excrutiating Strictly moment ever for me.

well, tittabubba notwithstanding, I think the most toe-curling perforamance must be the showdance of Lisa and Brendan. I am scarred forever...

As I soon as I saw the thread title I thought of Lisa's showdance. Then I tried to banish it back to the dark recesses of my mind...

Muppetgate was just horrible, especially the polite applause at the end...

Emma's Paso was hilarious. One of my favourite ITT moments was when they got a load of elderly dancey folk (can't remember who they were) to review the week's dances...they loved Mark's Samba, but didn't think much of Emma's Paso (which inexplicably got 37 points).

Emma was a decent ballroom dancer, but her latin was crap...

Most of Fiona Phillips' performances were toe curling too.

There have been plenty of dire performances by the more mature male and female celebs, but some how they are excusable!

The snowdon showdance. I doubt there will ever be anything to touch it in the jaw-droppingly awful stakes.

I, too, had banished it, but just went to you tube to refresh my memory. The best laugh I've had in ages! I just put in Lisa Snowdon's show dance and watched the first one. It has captions of quotations said of the 'effort'. They are hilarious!! Well worth the time.

I would initially have gone with Lisa and Brendan's showdance...and they were my favourite couple that year!

No, I'll come up with something different. That moment in Laila and Anton's rumba when the poorly ankle gave out and he swept her into his arms, followed by the brave little soldier hobble to the judges still makes me cringe whenever I remember it.

I have to admit that I had not seen Colin and reins muppet dance and ???? I mean I can get why Brendan and Lisa did what they did (freestyle dancing is cringeworthy like that IMO) but the muppets all the time?
So as a dance it self I think brendan and Lisa, but as a concept/idea def. Colin and Erin.
