Hello,

Sorry if these questions have been asked before (they probably have, I had a quick look but I may have missed something).

Ok, so after playing around on my sister's iphone4 the other day I have decided it is finally time for me to enter the smartphone world and buy an iphone4. My sister has her's on 3 but where I live 3 does not have great coverage so I am looking at other networks. The network I use just now is o2 and I have no complaints with that, however looking at the tarrifs it looks like Tesco mobile would be the better option for me as its only £20 a month and has 1GB internet.

Does anyone here have the iphone 4 on Tesco mobile? What are your views/opinions on the network? All opinions positive or negative would be great!

Also, a couple of quick actual questions!

Are MMS included in the unlimited text or do you have to pay per message? The o2 deal I have just now they are included but they take off 4 texts from the overall allowance which is ideal and I was hoping that would be the same with Tesco however I have a feeling they will be extra!

Also, when you are nearing the limit of your data allowance do you get notification to say you are about to reach your limit or do they just start charging and how much are the charges?

Thank you for any help/advice!

tesco mobile runs on the o2 network but they are 12 month contracts so the phone is a lot of money up front

It is good that Tesco use o2's network as I already know that there is good coverage in my area, so that is handy.

One of the reasons I like Tesco is the 12 month contract - I don't mind paying a bit more to start with and then only being in a contract for 12 months.

You should always phone your current provider and tell them you're thinking of leaving, see if they can work out a deal for you
