TOTALLY agree with this, it's a bit "blink and you've missed it" sometimes!

Does that include the post-firing taxi rant? I've been listening out for the contestants to say things specific to the task, but am wondering if they all just record some general "Lord Sugar made the wrong decision" speech. I think they sometimes name names though, so most likely not.

As far as I know, the "taxi" rant is post firing but the walk to the taxi is filmed at the beginning, it used to be filmed at the old Amstrad HQ.

In previous series I have noticed minor continuity slips, like different ties or make-up from the walk to inside taxi or the boardroom. They are rarely obvious as the walk is a long shot, wearing a coat.

The rant bit has to be post firing. Last year Ben said he was better than James and Debra (sorry not true) who he'd just been in the boardroom with. Well just, minutes or hours, maybe who knows how long after, tv shooting being the decider.

The long coat bit is to hide what we last saw them in. Afterall, we never see them bring coats into the BR reception area. Just supposedly a pull along case with all their clothes, shoes, hair curlers, good luck mascots, books, drugs, etc.

That has always been unlikely, I cannot imagine being constantly filmed for 6+weeks with what would fit in a small case. I travelled a lot for work in my twenties and developed an essentials method of packing and clothes that worked together for all situations, that size case would have been good for 2 weeks max.

All the in-taxi scenes are filmed at night, if BR takes place daytime, they must have to wait around for darkness during the early October firings.

Well the taxi just takes them to a local hotel. The next day while the other are doing the next task, they go in and collect all their stuff. I spelt this out in this week's task thread, and I don't think any got what I was ranting on about

True about the in taxi stuff being filmed at night. Not thought about that. They started filming 28th Sept, so the first few (6?) might well have been kept hanging around for hours.

One of last year's 'treats' was listening to Katherine Jenkins. In that all the women were wearing evening dresses. Never to be seen again btw. Things that can't be worn on tasks. So just how much are they asked to bring? Phillip wore a jumper (bless!)

I worked late today and watched a recording half an hour behind so I did not have time to see that thread.

Re the Katherine Jenkins treat, I expect the BBC wardrobe dept stumped up or Sugar's good friend Philip Green supplied them in return for all the free publicity. Strange how the same old pals benefit from a licence payer funded show.
