Laura was the strongest out of the females this episode

She really showed her mettle by disagreeing all along the way with Chris and Alex.

Good on her.

Whereas on the other team we seen the fave girls going right along with the project. I.e. had they lost the task, it would have been interesting to see how they worm out of the fact that 'women are sex slaves to their hubbies'.

Therefore Laura, as young as she is, was the only woman that showed any true balls.

And as for SA baying for her blood...............get a grip. Perhaps he's afraid of her and prefers the 'stepford wives' on the other side to work for him.

Still contradicted herself, though, didn't she? When Alex said he'd like her to go and do the radio advert she was very happy to go along with it. It was only afterwards that she threw a massive strop about it. She was also perfectly happy to go along with "Germ-O-Nator" once she heard "Hasta la vista, gravy"...until they lost, when she suddenly thought it was a bad idea again.

Laura seems to say whatever will make her look the best (or give her the best positioning) at any given time, regardless of whether it's the polar opposite of what she's previously said or not (the classic example being the battle of Compton Street). And most of that takes the form of whining, moaning, and shouting at other candidates.

While I agree she got a hard time this week compared to her input, in this particular case "strongest of the females" is like "least virulent of the viruses" - not something to shout about too loudly.

She didn't disagree with Chris ever, and the only time she and Alex really had a significant disagreement where she didn't immediately back down was over the "keep out of the reach of children" bit, which she didn't exactly push very hard then either. She whinged and grizzled and bitched and whined and acted up, but it was all in the back of cars or in the recording studio or in interviews, never to the person she was talking about.

I think people are really over-stating just how sexist Christopher's advert was. The woman in the ad wasn't a sex-slave, or chained to the sink. She cleaned the kitchen whilst her husband put the children to bed. It's a bit of a stereotype, and Christopher's on-screen and off-screen performance was horrible and sleazy, but the concept was hardly offensive, just a bit naff. Hardly something for anybody to cause a major task-disruption over.

unfortunately she failed to capitalise on the fact that she was being relatively sensible by acting like a 5 year old girl who isn't allowed another lollipop

if you can make your criticism constructive rather than petulant and sulky then people might take notice!

OP, this is a joke right? She sulked and whinged throughout.

While I think you make a fair point, it's worth noting that the "putting the children to bed" part of the advert was filmed but wasn't actually in the final version of the advert. In the finished version, it appeared that he just left her to it while sitting down on the sofa having a glass of wine.

We didn't actually see him do it, but she is seen telling him to do it. I do think they could have made it clearer, but the editing of their advert was awful.

Rather like the editing of The Apprentice, really.

At least the teams have the excuse of being amateurs.
