Some thoughts:

Matt & Aliona - loved their rumba. Same problem with hands as Chris had, but they acted it the whole way through and I thought it was great.

Kara & Artem - If Scott's jive deserved 39 (and i don't think it did), this deserved 40. Utterly breathtaking, the dance of the night for me by a mile. She's gone up in my estimation a lot in the last few weeks and it will be a severe injustice if she doesn't make the final.

Scott & Natalie - it was good, technically good, but I wasn't blown away like I was with Kara's dance. Awful use of props, they weren't even in the same picture half the time and barely danced together, so not worthy of a 10 imo.

Pamela & James - a bit stiff in the legs, but still full of vitality and humour and I really enjoyed it.

Patsy & Robin - I don't see the improvement. The messing about at the start was ok but onc she got into hold I thought she was very wobbly and stumbled quite a bit. Not impressed.

Felicity & Vincent - just awful, in my opinion, really didn't enjoy it.

Michelle & Brendan - same as above, not a great dance for her at all.

Gavin & Katya - I don't see how this was worth 33, I thought it was dreadful! So gimmicky and it kept stopping and starting. I like Katya, but that was the worst choreography I've seen her produce, I'm astounded that it got more than a 6 from any judge!

Ann & Anton - I have to give her credit for not using any gimmicks, Bruno's score was fair. Really detest how she keeps talking about the dances coming up as if she's certain to get through - even if she is, it's not right for her to assume so!

And as for wardrobe, has the budget disappeared this year? I think Brendan's shirt has been worn by James before, and James' entire outfit was one he wore on the pro tour this year!”

Agree with most of that!

I like Pamela and Patsy. But last week I was really put off the show by Jimmy going out of it as he was really good and the likess of Anne and Gavin still in it is just just a joke.

There were a lot of good music choices, so I was hoping for a better night.

I thought Jimi was missed, as the whole show was a bit flat for me.

Kara's dance was the best looking. I always enjoy her dancing and her skirt was impressive in its stretchiness.

Scott's was all about telling the story of the song more than the dance, but he danced it better than I expected.

I thought Matt really tried his very best at the Rumba to do all the right things, so deserves credit for aiming at the right place and getting closer than most men.

Disappointed that Gaving brought the kids in and it backfired by distracting him. I think Katya needs to start redirecting her ideas, as she seems to be losing focus on the right things.

James's choreography was disappointing for such a good song, and Pamela didn't work well with what she was given.

Everyone else was poor, despite good songs and reasonable choreography.

Jimi would have brightened things up a bit.
