Tess is from right next to Greater Manchester. Her husband is from Bolton. Only 40 miles or so from Blackpool. What the hell is this guff about "ey up" (erm, ain't that Yorkshire? 'Cos it ain't a Blackpool thing) and "chips and gravy". No, love, it's chips and curry sauce there. And ditto for Brucie as well. Don't they go every year for Strictly!!??

just playing it up, not her fault (well, maybe)

After hearing the comments from the judges re: Matt, while they were positive they were hardly jumping out of their seats like with Kara/Scott so to then ask him about 10s... I just thought, what a tool. Total tool!

Not an absolute idiot, but 90% of the way there. In the fake stakes, she's up there with the best of them.

Definitely - she is very fake when talking to the couples after they have danced. She is just not naturally friendly with them - not spontaneous at all and very irritating.
Love or hate Claudia (I love her) all the couples are much more relaxed and at ease when they chat to her.

(As you will have guessed I am not a great Tess fan)

I agree. Claudia is much better. A real natural. The sooner she gets the main gig, the better.

Favourite question from her tonight, to Scott: 'Do you thrive on criticism?'

A reasoned explanation is it is all scripted for her. She annoyed the hell out of me tonight.

In answer to your thread title...Did you really need to ask that?

I don't think the main show would suit Claudia's style at all, on a Sunday she just seems out of place. I love her on ITT and she should stay there.

She laughed at one point tonight and it honestly sounded like Basil Brush to me. I know I'm going to be listening out for it every week now.

It looks like I'm on my own here, because I like her. In my opinion she seems to get on and is friendly with them all.

Well with a bit of luck this will be her last series!, hopefully she and her dreadful husband will love it in the USA and won't return for a long long time......

I think Tess would be better suited if she took on Brucies role when he leaves, she's good in the Sunday shows.

Not sure about Tess but I'm from Lancashire and it is most definitely chips and gravy (curry sauce is a Manchester thing - I'd never heard of it before I moved here)

Either an absolute idiot, or intelligent but charmless. I'm finding it hard to work out which.

I agree she's much better presenting in Brucie's role - maybe because it's scripted and she doesn't have to relate to anyone. When she's in her usual role, asking the contestants her probing, often inappropriate questions, her sledgehammer style actually has me yelling at the TV...

She would have been good in The Stepford Wives, but most of the time she's Tess of the Murder Shrills.

No you are not. I love Tess and she does a great job. This thread is much ado about nothing.

Now c'mon mklass, don't mince your words, say what you think. LOL
Good one.

^^^^^^ It will be Tess's personal choice if she wants to go and I'm not interfering with it.
