I'm not a trained dancer and it's really confusing to watch each couple dance a different dance.

Much much much preferred it when they did alternating ballroom and latin each week with half the couples doing one sort and the other half doing the other sort.

Can someone tell me why it's changed??

Is it part of the whole Americanised thing?

I said avery similar thing on another thread and was torned apart for it!

I guess you can't please all of people etc etc but at least if they danced the same dances (say 50 / 50 each week latin and ballroom) it would be easier for us to judge who's good, who's improving and who's struggling

I think you might only get 2 dances next week (American Smooth or Samba) or perhaps 3.

Def no ATs though.

It hasnt changed at all........every series of Strictly eventually went to them all doing different dances.......there are only so many weeks they can do two dances then it just wont work. Every series has gone to different dances from about week 7 depending on the number of couples and the dances being done........this series they havent done American Smooth or Samba but have done Argentine Tango and Charleston. but probably will next week by the sound of it.
