The illuminations are good, Royal Lytham St. Anne's golf course (nothing to do with Widdy) is one of the courses in the British Open Championship rotation and the beautiful Lake District is no more than a short drive away.
Don't diss the north.
That poor girl's obviously never eaten even the tiniest bit of Blackpool rock. And I bet there's a chronic shortage of Kiss Me Quick hats in Illinois. It's quite heart-rending really.
