That's all I was hoping for some generous slack. Most people only know what the press write ABOUT them. Seriously they don't deserve all the hate they get. I've never met too lovelier lads in all my life! John looking after Edward after his operation was the cutest thing ever!

That said, although I liked Andrew (as I've said), I did question just how much of his 'naivete' and lacking in confidence was real, and how much was overplayed to win favour - both within the house and with the public.

Because when all's said and done, you don't put yourself forward for the rigorous and lengthy selection process that entails a BB application, and agree to put yourself on display for the amusement of the general public if you're that lacking in confidence ... there must some determination of character there underneath the whole 'I'm just a shy little virgin' persona, in my opinion (I've got bags of confidence usually, but would never dream of putting myself forward for BB)

And to quote yourself, why the heck would Jedward have any 'prior knowledge' of this lack of confidence, to supposedly make him this 'easy prey'? Given their very busy schedules I doubt very much they'd watched that much of the programme. Certainly not enough to get a handle on Andrew's psyche, I'd reckon.

Honestly, that was the moment I began to go off Andrew a bit, as he just came across as a bit of a pr**k, to be honest. He was supposed to be ignoring them (he was well aware of the task and he's a very bright boy), so why do what he did? Jedward didn't hurt his pride, he did that himself ... how on earth would they have known he'd have stood right in front of them? They would've been briefed that they would be performing their song and the HMs would be ignoring them.

There were cameramen on either side of the tiny stage and Andrew smack bang in front of them - John either had to move him out of the way or sommersault in front of him and risk kicking him in the head with both feet

You also ask 'Why do that to the kid?!' Andrew wasn't a kid to them, he's actually older than them.

fair enough that's your opinion but I suspect because you don't like them, you've not actually seen very much of them, as they aren't actually like any of those things IMO.

gigs can be posponed or cancelled mind !
just cause thats the schedule doesnt mean it cannot be altered.

It would be great if they did. There were strong rumours. Their guest apprearance in the Big Brother house was crazy Think they would really liven it up in there and possibly get some backs up

i don't think jedward would ever let their fans down like that though. The live gigs are the thing they like best out of all the things they do. Their PR went to the lengths of issuing a denial they were going in the jungle a few weeks ago , which is maybe a bit odd , as the rumours were publicity for the twins but perhaps they were worried the rumours might affect ticket sales for the tour. (or maybe she was just fed up with all the tweets she was getting about it lol) Anyhow, I just can't see the twins cancelling their own tour events and letting their fans down. They might cancel the childline concert as there are other artists performing and it could still go ahead but I find it hard to believe they would go into the Jungle so very late in the day and they still need to find time, in their packed diaries, to rehearse for panto.

There was an enormous hoo-haa among the twins' fans when they cancelled one of their nightclub gigs last year soon after leaving The X-Factor because the video shoot for their single had over-run. The twins were well aware at the time how upset some fans were, and I agree they wouldn't deliberately sell concert tickets only to cancel the gigs, not if they have their own way in any case.

The towns were quite happy to go and do the gig as well but management wouldn't let them. They love doing their shows more than anything in the world!

They have been looking forward to this UK tour for so long, live performance is what it's all about for them, it's what they want to do above all, why the hell would they cancel it halfway through. They would NEVER knowingly let fans down. They know fans would rather go to see them live than on a tv show.

I remember when they had to cancel that gig and all the upset. The boys didn't want to let people down. I think their team is quite controlling tbh.

They are at IndigO2 which is a bit different to performing at The O2.

Yes I do believe they are told what to do most of the time.

Management wouldn't go to the trouble/expense to arrange a tour which has sold well, and then cancel half of it for this.

We know they're at Indigo2 btw. I don't think anyone was intending to mislead by saying they were at o2, the person was merely pointing out that they are touring and have dates every day apart from one, until the end of November, actually to be pedantic about it there is now an extra date at Ipswich the day after Indigo2.

for what it's worth they were bloody awesome in York tonight! After the encore they were just telling hilarious rambling anecdotes for about 10 minutes and randomly sang the Pokemon theme tune acapella - inspired by a wig thrown on stage! they're insane! wouldn't have them any other way! I just love them!

I'm assuming their core audience are 8-10 year old.

Andrew naive and unworldly, really?.I remember him passing some very risqué remarks to the ladies.
He was also very aggressive and territorial, weirdly so.Remember the way he took against Andrew castle and how he threw a ball over a couples heads repeatedly in the ignore task and swore at a guy in the shower.

The guy stared aggressively at the twins like a bull in a field.He was also very insulting to Sam, who was no angel either, but Andrew is meant to be this innocent.Pushing him aside was a brilliant put down, that he deserved.

He was also the one who blabbed about JJJ to Josie and also told her who was popular and disliked.He was up her ass, big time and was a brown noser.
